The Albertsons Deal for PYP Readers - LAST CHANCE!

Today is the last day to take advantage of the special PYP/Albertsons deal!

See Tricia's post for all the details!

For My Fabuless Pepsi Friends

As a Dental Hygienist I would not recommend drinking soda, but as your Fabulessly Frugal Friend I want you to save money on your habit! So here is a deal on Pepsi at Walgreens good March 29- April 4th!

At Walgreens you can buy
Pepsi 12 packs on sale 4/$12
-$3 Buy 2 flavored diet Pepsi 12 pks, & get one free PRINTABLE
You will pay $9 Out of Pocket
But get a $3 RR when you buy 4
Final Price $6 for (4) 12 packs that is .13 a can!

RR- is a coupon that you can use on your next purchase.

But wait according to my friend Amber the place to buy it this week is Target. Here is what she says.

Okay so I know I have said this before, but let me reiterate, my husband consumes A LOT of soda. He was able to print out a bunch of the B2G1 Pepsi 12 pack coupons so I have been searching for the best way to use them. A few stores have sales this week, but Target is by far the best deal (plus they have a pretty wide selection of diet products to choose from, unlike Walgreens). Right now they have Pepsi 12 packs on sale for $3 (I think Mountain Dew and Rootbeer too). Then, if you buy 5, you automatically get a $5 Target gift card. So here is what I did:

Bought 6- 12 packs: $18
Used 2 B2G1 coupons: (-$6) $12
Received a $5 Target gift card : (-$5) $7/for 6 12-packs= $1.17 per 12 pack. AWESOME!!!!!

Just an FYI.

Walgreens 3/29-4/4

With all this cereal excitement at Albertsons, we've overlooked Wags!

Over at Fistful of Coupons, she has a detailed shopping trip for you... it's awesome!

Remember that Glade Soy Candle printable I told you about last week? Now's your chance to use it!

In the April Easy Saver catalog, on page 21, you'll find $2 off 1 Glade Soy Candle. Pair this up with the $4/1 printable (if you didn't print it, it's too late now), and you'll get a free candle!

For more Wags fun, check out Fistful of Coupons - she's got a great scenario and she tells you EXACTLY what to do, how to do it, in what order to do it - you'll end up paying $3 plus tax for chapstick, shaving cream, and lots & lots of softsoap bodywash (plus two free candles if you printed the coupon last week!).

Also, see her other Wags post for matchups and great bargains this week such as:

More Albertsons Clearance to watch for

Like Monica mentioned, there are some great clearance items right now at Albertsons. (Different stores vary - so just keep your eyes peeled.) I am anxious to find some of those clearanced Flintstone vitamins she picked up!

At Eagle/McMillan the big 2.6 Secret Flawless deoderant was clearanced to $1.99. It was on a clearance rack at the front of the stores near the registers. They had unscented, unscented with Olay, Totally Fresh, and Satiny Tropical. Also, they had the small sizes of the Secret Flawless in the deoderant aisle for $2.50 on clearance, but who wants small when bigger is way more frugal. With the $2/1 coupon from RP 2/22, the big ones were free! SO if you weren't able to find them in stock when Kmart doubled last week - hopefully you can get some here. This store also had a lot of fragrance items clearanced - Glade candles, warmers, refills, Febreze items, etc. I picked up a few Renuzit Tri-Scents clearanced to $4.99 and used my $4/1 coupon from SS 2/22, making it $.99.

At Eagle/State on a clearance rack near the back of the store they had the small sized Secret Flawless clearanced to $1.50. They also had the Secret Platinum (lots of scents) for $1.99. I think most stores have these clearanced right now, including 36th and State St.

I love finding clearance items unexpectedly. It's fabuless!

Don't Stress

After all of these Albertson's posts I am feeling a little stressed about getting the cereal. Here are a few tips so you will not have to stress!

REMEMBER this is in multiples of 5 or more. So you will get one $5 catalina if you buy 5 boxes or 25 boxes. You will want to seperate into multiple transactions of 5 or 6.
-Be curtious to other customers and Albertson's staff.
-Go when it is not as busy.
-Sweetly let people know in line behind you that it may be a few minutes because you have multiple transactions and a coupon for each item.
-Please don't hoard! Remember my diaper experience? Please do not create that for anyone. It was horrible! I know our readers are fabuless and would never do that!

The sale runs from March 29th-April 7th and the catalina offer runs through April 19th.

So if you go and they are out of the kind you wanted. Get a raincheck. Then go back after the sale is over. You will still get your cereal for $1.57 with the raincheck and as long as you go before April 19th the catalina will still print!

If your family is going to require many boxes make an order.

You can pay for your cereal with the $5 catalina in the next transaction and still get another one. Unlike Walgreens!

Post Albertsons sale

OK - I just looked at the Albertsons ad which is up on their website here:

http://albertsons.shoplocal.com/albertsons/default.aspx?action=entry&storeid=2407889

and it looks like the price when you buy 2 cereals is $1.57 (if you only buy one, the price is $2.07) - so that totally changes the price calculations. Either way, it's a STEAL OF A DEAL!

If you’re like me, you’re wondering, is it more frugal to buy 5 boxes/transaction and only use two -$1/2 coupons, but pay the extra 50 cents for the 5th box of cereal, or to buy 6/transaction and use all 3 -$1/2 coupons!

Let’s find out!

5 boxes – 4 x $1.57 = $6.28 + $2.07 (for the 5th box) = $8.35

Use 2 - $1/2 coupons ($2 off) = $6.35

Calculate in the $5 catalina = $1.35

$1.35/5 boxes = 27 cents/box

OR

5 boxes – 4 x $1.57 = $6.28 + $2.07 (for the 5th box) = $8.35

Use two - $1/2 coupons ($2 off) = $6.35

ALSO use one $2/1 IP from Post’s website ($2 off) = $4.35

Calculate in the $5 catalina = overage of $.65 – (you would need to buy something else in this transaction to be able to use the $5.00 Catalina!!!)

6 boxes – 6 x $1.57 = $9.42

Use three - $1/2 coupons ($3 off) = $6.42

Calculate in the $5 catalina = $1.42

$1.42/6 boxes = 23.6 cents/box

Then if you use multiple IPs for -$2/1, you'll have to calculate it yourself! But we're glad you have lots of computers to print from.

Does this make sense to you? Someone check my math – it’s late after all

Just for Fun

Look what I spotted in Boise at the Overland & Five Mile Wags

This one was spotted in South Jersey by JoanieS on Hot Coupon World.

This sign was spotted in Texas by Tkalil from A Full Cup.

If you have seen one of these signs leave a comment and tell us where. If you get a picture of one send it to me and I will add it to this post. fabulesslyfrugal at gmail dot com. I am curious to see how many we can get from different places!

The Albertsons Cereal Sale - .24 a box!! Revisited and Revisited again!

**Updated with more accurate info!!** (rather than doing ANOTHER cereal post, I'm just updating).

So I want to talk more about this fantastic Albertsons Post Cereal sale that starts tomorrow.

The Caldwell store manager, Jared, warns that there may not be much product at some of the stores at first, as they didn't get much notice about this sale. He advised us that both the Nampa stores have ordered 50 palettes of cereal from Post, and he ordered 70 for his store (which is located at 2500 Blaine St in Caldwell).

The cereal is on sale for $1.57 a box - WHEN YOU BUY TWO.

There is also a catalina sale going (according to PYP)
Buy any Post cereal (10 oz or larger) during purchase dates and save up to $5 off your next order (Voucher will print after you pay)
buy 3 get $2 off
buy 4 Get $3 off
buy 5 or more and get $5 off
Between 3/27/09 and 4/19/09
(so it sounds like if you buy 10, you'll still only get one $5 cat)

Here's what Tricia figured out for us above. It looks like it would be best to purchase 6 boxes of cereal for $1.57 each. Use 3 $1/2 coupons, give your $5 catalina, and you'll pay $1.42 (plus tax) for your six boxes of cereal. This is approx .24 for a box of cereal. Still an amazing deal!

Now about those coupons!

As Monica mentioned, you can find a coupon for $1 off any two boxes of Post Selects cereal in the March 1st Smart Source insert.

There is also $1/2 Post Raisin Bran, Shreeded Wheat, or Grape Nuts in the Sunday (3/29) Smart Source Insert.

Want more coupons? Here is what I'm doing - I just went on eBay and ordered 20 coupons that are good for $1/2 Post Selects (they do expire April 12th) - it cost me $1.99 with shipping. I'm sure I'll get it by Wednesday or Thursday. I also found another *Buy It Now* auction for 20 $1/2 coupons good o
n POST Shredded Wheat, Raisin Bran, Grape-Nuts Nuggets or Flakes. So I'm paying just under $4 for another 40 coupons that will save me $40 in cereal. Let's assume I really do go purchase 80 boxes of cereal (FIRST AND FOREMOST - I would NOT do this all in one day at one store!! That is called HOARDING and is rude and inconsiderate!!), I'll end up doing and spending $19.20 out of pocket (not including tax) for 80 boxes of cereal! Not too bad!

Be aware that this sale isn't for "sugar" cereals (as we so lovingly call them at my house). See Monica's previous post for the list of cereals that are included in this sale.

Have fun and play nice!

ps - Let's help each other out this week and share when you find a store that is out of stock, or has a lot in stock, or if you find out when they'll be getting more in stock!

You are most definitely FABULESS!!

Hilarious story about Walmart

I stumbled across this hilarious post on Walmart. You too will laugh, unless you've never shopped Walmart! Read it HERE.

Old Navy Weekly Coupon

Don't forget to head to Old Navy Weekly here for your coupon this week. It looks like the best is a 30% off your entire purchase! You have to do certain things to make it available to click on though. Trickier, yes! It took me a few minutes, and the "button" is really hard to catch! You have to click it at just the right moment.

If you're really into doing the search yourself don't read further!

Be sure to drag and drop each head to its correct body (sounds morbid, doesn't it?) then click on the coupon that appears, but DON'T add. It looks like this activates another coupon - so watch to see if something new appears every once in a while. If you need another hint, leave a comment and I'll spell it out for you!

Disappointing news about Wags Register Rewards

As of today 3/26, Albertsons will no longer be accepting Walgreens register rewards! The stores (all apparently) just got an email today from higher up, stating that they can continue to take competitor's manufacturer's coupons if they are for a product (Ex: $1.25 off of a Gillette razor). They will not take a walgreen's register reward for $10 or $4 (like if you have a bunch left over from the Huggies Diaper sale or the Gillette razors). Bummer! I was at Eagle/McMillan tonight.

Frosted Flakes Anyone?

If you saw the Albertson's ad good March 25th-31st you know that:

Kellogg's cereal - MiniWheats, Crispix, Corn Pops, or Rice Krispies 12-18 oz. are $1.67 or 3 for $5.

and you can do this Extra promo

Buy 7, get 3 gallons of milk FREE. Buy 5, get 2 gallons FREE. Buy 3, get 1 gallon FREE. Voucher will print at checkout, valid on your NEXT shopping trip. Kellogg’s Cereal, any flavor 10 oz. or larger .70/1 (4-5-09) RP-2/22 .97

I went to Albertsons last night and Realized:

The Free MILK offer is good on all Kelloggs Cereal 12 oz or larger!

So here is what I did bought 8 boxes 17 0z size $1.99 each
Used $1/2 printable coupon (Cathy found 6 of these and you can print each one twice)

Frosted Flakes Coupon
Frosted Flakes Coupon
Frosted Flakes Coupon
Frosted Flakes Coupon
Frosted Flakes Coupon
Frosted Flakes Coupon

Cereal is $11.92 or $1.49 each, but you get 3 FREE gallons of milk Value $8.07!
It is like paying .48 a box!

Like I said you can do this with any of the Kellogg's cereals 12 oz or larger. I did Frosted Flakes because my husband is obsessed with Frosted Flakes and there are so many coupons for them!

Hint: Buy your cereal in the first transaction and then get your milk in a second transaction. You will have to pay tax. Mine was .49. You can get any brand or kind of milk. I got Darigold Whole Milk.

Coupon Friendly Albertsons & Walgreens

If you're looking for a new Albertsons location to shop at, I've found several stores that I like to go to. For instance, the 36th and State street store is awesome! They clip coupons and hang them up for your use, like several Meridian stores. I also love going to McMillan/Eagle and Ten Mile/Cherry Lane. Where do you like to coupon???

I also love to go to the Eagle/Chinden Walgreens. The Store director/manager is Scott and he's great! He's working to order products for the upcoming week's sales to try and have more inventory on hand!

No matter where you're from, let everyone know where you like to coupon! Which stores have been the best for you? Which store has cashiers that know what they are doing with coupons? Hopefully your tips will help those out there that dread going to the store because the employees treat them like they're stealing because they have coupons!

Albertsons 3/25-3/31

Here is the FabuLESS link to the shrinkable, printable, Albertsons shopping list!

What's looking good to me?

Strawberries - $1.49/lb

Albertsons Bacon - $1.99/lb (5 star price!!)

They have a bunch of meat on sale for $1.88/lb. A fairly good price for chicken, but there is a much better deal for our local fab friends at Cash and Carry.

I'll let you check out the list yourself and see what's best for you.

Here are a few Catalina's going on (or that will start very soon):

Free Secret Deodorant at Albertsons

I went and did my shopping at Albertsons today (boo hoo, they were all out of Frosted Flakes!).

FabuLESS Dining

You can buy a $25 gift certificate for $10 at Restaurants.com. But if you are following Fabulessly Frugal, you will notice that we post about the latest whenever we find them. This week Click here to save 70% off of the $25 gift certificate. Just use the code SAVE now thru 3/31/09! That means you will get your $25 certificate for just $3.

There's a catch right?
Well kind of. When you redeem your certificate you have to have a bill that is at least $35. So you buy the certificate for $3. Go to your restaurant, get your bill up to at least $35. Then you will be able to redeem your certificate. That brings the bill back down to $10. You are then required to tip 18% on the original bill. Total cost for you will be $19 including the original $3 for the certificate and an 18% gratuity.

Have you guys actually done this?
Yes, I would not put it on here if we hadn't. I have redeemed certificates at Ono Hawaiian Cafe, and twice at Donnie Mac's Trailer Park. I have certificates waiting to spend at Asiago's and Cafe Vicino. I am not worried I have one year to use them! Cathy has purchased them as well. I think she chose Asiago's.

I have never heard of those restaurants, is this only for local readers?
No, When you get to the site you enter in your zip code to get restaurants local to you! I love it because it gives me an excuse to try and support local restaurants in my city (46 to choose from). If I was to go to Portland for the weekend I could buy one and try out their local digs.

I want to eat out tonight. Do I have to wait for the certificate to arrive in the mail?
No, you print it from your home computer. I think if you can't print right away they will email you the certificate. I am not positive on that one.

Anything else I should know?
Yes, After you pay and are getting ready to print a window pops up it is a $10 rebate offer if you join some discount club... scroll to the bottom right and click "no thanks" to continue on to print off your gift certificate. The 1st time I did this I accepted and then they sent me a letter saying that my first month was free, but starting next month they would bill my credit card for my membership. I did not try the trial membership I just called and canceled. I knew I would likely forget about it and have my credit card billed. So hit "no thanks" and you will not have to hassle. Maybe the discount club is awesome? I just didn't want to mess with it.

Albertsons - Sneak Peak! 3/25-3/31

Here is the link to take a peek at the Albertsons sale starting Wednesday! I'm so glad I saw this earlier today, because I was about to pay (gasp) full price for some crackers! I decided I could most definitely wait two days to purchase these for my family and get them at a good price! We'll have the printable list for you Wednesday!

Print This Coupon for A FREE Candle Next Month!

Thank you Fist Full of Coupons for the inside scoop on an upcoming sale at Wags!

You'll need to go print this coupon for $4 off any one product from "The Fragrance Collection by Glade". According to FFofC, you'll be able to get a free Soy Candle from this collection next month at Wags... but print the coupon NOW (twice!!) so you'll have it before they're all gone!

Rite Aid 3/22-3/28

Some of you may not have been able to use your $3 and $5 printable Huggies coupons during the sale at Wags. So if you still have them head to Rite Aid this week for a good buy on diapers.

Huggies diapers and Pullups on sale $9.99
- $3 or $5 printable Huggies Coupon
=6.99 or $4.99 Out of Pocket
Submit Single Check Rebate #15 for $2
Total is $4.99 or $2.99

There is a limit of one on the rebate!

Target matching prices

It looks like Target is going to be matching advertised prices now from competitors. On page 9 of their ad from this week it says, "If you ever come across a lower advertised price on an identical item, we'll match it." The fine print says it applies to "current, local print ads for in-store products." I don't think they've ever done this before - but maybe I've been out of the loop!

Also, be sure to check out Joanie's post from Krazy Coupon Lady here to get info on their coupon policy from CORPORATE. This should help with any problems you may have had in the past! Thanks Joanie!

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts - $1.29 per pound

So I've had three fabuless friends tell me this today! Thanks ladies! Thanks to Ashley for typing it all out for me so I can copy and paste!!

Here is the deal:

Cash & Carry is having an excellent deal on boneless, skinless chicken breasts. They are $1.29 per pound. There is a catch, though. You have to buy a 40 lb. box. In the box, the 40 lbs. is divided into 4 bags (10 lbs. each), and the chicken is frozen together in each bag.

Don't know what to do with 40 pounds of chicken!? Find a friend or two who would like to divy it up with you. OR, just buy the whole thing! Here's what I did last time Albies had it for $1.77/lb. I threw about 12 breasts into the crockpot with some cream of chicken soup and a little seasoning. After letting it cool, I bagged it with 2-4 breasts per bag and then put them in the freezer - great to use later for casseroles, my fave chicken noodle soup (off topic - make these easy noodles with it), or enchiladas. I took another 12 breasts, put a dry rub on them, pounded them flat, and grilled them and bagged them individually to freeze. Great to use for a quick healthy lunch for me or hubby, or thaw it out and chop up onto your salad. Then took another 32 breasts, bagged them (about 6 breasts per bag) and used a variety of marinades. Pop it into the freezer for later grilling or baking. So fun to just pull it out of the freezer in the morning, and let it thaw and marinate all day long!

Other deals at Cash & Carry through the rest of the week:

80% lean ground beef - $6.95 for 5 lb. roll ($1.38/lb.)
Extra Large Eggs - $4.95 for 5 dozen (can be divided between people if desired)
Darigold Butter Prints - $1.29/lb. (I don't believe they are broken up into quarters-just 1 lb. chunk)
Fresh Strawberries - $6.95 for 4 lbs.
Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese Loaf - $9.45 for 5 lbs. ($1.89 per pound)
Bananas - $0.39/lb.
Shredded Cheese - $7.97 for 5 lb. bag (Mild Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
Frozen Vegetables - $3.48 for 5 lb. bag (Corn, Green Beans, Peas, Peas and Carrots, Mixed Vegetables)

***Here is their ad***

They have two Idaho locations. 1700 W. Shoreline Drive in Boise, or 2710 Sundance Road in Nampa (do a google maps search).

These deals run through the end of the month. I did have one friend tell me to watch carefully how the product rings up.

It took me about 4 hours to have all the fun with my chicken (man, did I wash my hands a lot!). But it is sooo worth it and has saved me money (along with my freezer cooking).

Happy cooking, grilling, freezing, or whatever!

A few printing tips

Don't forget to hit your browser's back button and try to print each coupon twice, ocassionally you can get more than 2 but it is usually just 2! On Target in-store coupons there is no limit. Although it says you can only use one per tranaction so keep that in mind.

Here is a printing tip from one of my favorite bloggers Being Frugal is Fab

"Are You Having Trouble Printing Coupons? The first thing to try doing is using a different internet browser. Some coupons will print best in Internet Explorer, some prefer Safari or Firefox. I have 3 browsers loaded on my computer so if it doesn't work in one browser, I open another and try it.If it is a Coupons, Inc. coupon, towards the bottom will see a little help button. If you click on the help button it will either bring up a form for the manufacturer to mail the coupon to you or it will bring up a troubleshooting guide to help you. If it brings up the troubleshooting guide, then that means that the manufacturer has not chosen to make it available for being mailed out, so try the steps on the troubleshooting guide."

If you do not want to install multiple browsers you can try this tip from Freebie Blogger.

I can't wait to go and use these at Winco!

FYI

A reader e-mailed me to let me know that flour is currently $6.49 for a 25 lb bag at Costco. That is the lowest price I have seen in a while. It is good to have at least one of these bags on hand at all times. Especially after the crazy grocery price hikes we saw last summer.
While we were there we picked up 2 gallons of whole milk for $3.55, which beats Fred Meyer's $0.99 coupon deal. It may not beat this weeks Albertson's 3/$5, but I do not think that is good on whole milk.
Lastly sour cream was $2.79 for the 3 lb tub. I would guess that it beats most local prices.
(You may not go through a 3 lb tub, but we do!)

Thanks Kim for the flour tip!

Coupons and Freebies in the Mail

I am kind of a skeptic so when I first started seeing offers for free stuff on websites I just ignored it. I didn't really think I would actually get any of it. The more I read about other blogger mommies like me getting free stuff in the mail, the more confidence I had. It was like having a trusted friend who had done it tell you about all the great stuff they got. So I started submitting for coupons and freebies on the internet. Guess what? They actually do come. I can not guarantee all of them, some are scams! Many are legitimate as well. We try to lead you only to the good ones, but sometimes we might make mistakes so be sure to do your own home work!

Here are a few tips to help you out!

Ask yourself who is offering the free samples?
Is it being offered by a major company like, Pampers, Betty Crocker, or Costco? Look at the URL address and then back it out by deleting everything after the first "/" to see if it takes you to the home page. Look at the links, do they work? Look for a copyright and Privacy Policy. See any misspellings - that's a red flag!

Don't give out any information unless you want it to be used

* I always use a junk email address (if you don't have one get one from gmail)
* Sometimes I use another name (Example: My uncle uses the name Cou Pon. Funny huh? Sometimes I am Fabuless Frugal)
* I rarely put a current phone number (I can not stand telemarketers)
* I never put my real b-day. I chose one that I can remember and puts me at my age. Many times they just want to know that you are 18 or older. The reason I choose one I can remember is in case I need to get into the account and I can not remember the password they may use it to verify.
* I do give my address since I want the freebie.
* Choose a password just for freebies. Sometimes they ask for a password to set up an account. Do not use a password that is connected with your personal info or bank info. Consider keeping it the same for all freebies, otherwise you will have a hard time remembering and keeping track!

If it says FREE then it is FREE

Never give out your credit card number. If they ask for your credit card you are not getting a free sample.

Where are the Old Navy High Value Coupons?

If you tried to play the Old Navy hunting game today you may have noticed that the high value coupons are GONE! We got a comment from John at Old Navy. Here is what he had to say......

"Hello everyone, as brand advocates working on behalf of Old Navy, we have some fantastic updates to the coupon promotion that was recently launched and we want to thank each and every one of you who have made this such a successful and fun way to interact with your favorite fashions at Old Navy.

Here what’s happened so far...
We thought we were being sneaky hiding coupons for up to $75 and $50 off on OldNavyWeekly.com. We thought it’d take some serious snooping skills for anyone to find these fabulous coupons. Then we launched the site and over million visitors proved us very, very wrong. You all hunted and found the coupons in record time week after week and in the process even managed to shut down our site a few times due to overwhelming traffic. So, while we’re flattered by all the attention we need a little time to regroup—or rather find ways to make this game of ours a little trickier to solve. So for the next few weeks, OldNavyWeekly.com will still be updated weekly but we won’t be re-seeding the premium coupons and only hiding up to $10 off any $50 purchase. But in April, we’re bringing back the premium coupons and they’ll be in even more fabulous hiding places! So be sure to keep your hunting skills sharp!

Premium coupons/Timing:
So for the next few weeks, OldNavyWeekly.com will be pulling the $75 and $50 coupons and only hiding up to $10 off any $50 purchase. But in April, the premium coupons will be back and in even more fabulous hiding places!

Here are some helpful tips for redeeming your coupons at stores:
- Print or email your coupon from the site
- Take it into the store the next time you shop (make sure to check valid dates)
- This coupon is one time use only — use it on yourself or give to a friend, but don’t bother making copies, because it’ll only work once!
- Applies to merchandise only
- Hand to the cashier upon checkout and have them scan the bar code.
- If for some reason the barcode doesn’t scan, suggest they manually enter in the discount code on the coupon and amount

If you have any questions or maybe you just want to give us your feedback on the Supermodelquins or OldNavyWeekly.com, please do not hesitate to drop us an email or reply to this post.

Sincerely,

John A.

FabuLESS Dining GREEN Special!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Get your certificate for 60% off plus a FREE $10 certificate if you use the CODE GREEN. Now through March 23rd. Get yours here

Never bought a certificate from Restaurants.com? Keep READING!

There's a catch right?
Well kind of. When you redeem your certificate you have to have a bill that is at least $35. So you buy the certificate for $4 and then you have to spend at least $10 above $25, then you tip 18% on the original bill. Total cost for you will be $20 including the original $4 for the certificate.
