SYTYCD TOP 10

I missed SYTYCD last week. :( I have just been sooo busy! So this week when I saw the opening number and I noticed Katliyn was gone I was okay with it. When I noticed that Phillip was gone I was surprised and disapointed.
When I saw tonights routinue with Jeanine and Jason I was kind of like Phillip who? I miss Phillip no one can dance quite like him, but that routine with Jason and Jeanine was awesome.
Props to Travis on his choreography. I did not think he would do so awesome. The routine gave me goose bumps. I never really noticed Jason before, but now I am glad he is in the top ten.

Were you sad to see Phillip go? Do you think it was too soon?

SYTYCD Week 4: TOP 14!

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Brandon and Janette's Cha-Cha! So awesome. I have loved Brandon from the beginning. I was bugged that Lil C and Mia did not like him. I wondered if they were just being hard on him because he is so good and they wanted him to really work for a spot on the show. It seems like that is what they were doing.




Phillip and Jeanine's Hip Hop was awesome. I can not believe how they handled that chain. Nappy Tab's created and awesome routine.





Does it bug you that the judges seem to always be judging the routines/choreographers and costumes?



Hey Twilighters, did you like the vampire dance by Kupono and Kayla?




Randi & Evan's dance was FUN as usual! I really like these two. Randi is one of my favorite girls!



Ade and Melissa's Ballet was beautiful. I was impressed at how well Ade did.



This Alien dance was way weird. Brian Freedman is a very strange man. The dancers performed it well though. Again the judges wanted to talk costume and choreographer.



I almost forgot about this one. I thought the costume change was awesome!



Tonight's results:

Bottom 3 ladies: Karla, Kayla and Jeanine. I was surprised to see Karla and Jeanine there. I love those girls.
Karla got sent home. :(


Bottom 3 guys: Vitolio, Kupono and Phillip.
I loved Phillip's solo!
Vitolio got sent home. :(

SYTYCD Week 3 TOP 16

This is my all time fav SYTYCD Routine. It is from Season 4. Mark and Chelsie


I only caught the 1st hour tonight, it was a busy night.

My fav routine from the 1st hour was Brandon and Janette's Hip Hop!


I liked Melissa and Ade's dance, but that dress was way to scandalous to post on our site, but you can watch it on youtube! That is a direct link to the routine.
Speaking of scandalous I did not like Janette's get up either. I really don't like the trashy costumes. What do you think?

I think that Jonathan should go home. I did not like his hip hop at all, and he disappointed me with his Latin a few weeks ago. He is just not as good as many of the other men on the show.

Asuka is my pick to go home for the ladies. There is just something about her that bugs me.

Who do you think should go home?

SYTYCD Week 2

Last night I went to watch SYTYCD and found that with the switch over to digital our converter box was not picking up Fox. I was devastated. Luckily our Fab friend Amber was recording it and invited me over to watch it. Thanks Amber!

I just have to say this was my favorite dance from last week. Check it out!

I am soooo excited that Choreographer Shane Sparks is back! He did two dances last night and they were not well received by the judges. I actually really liked this one. What did you think? Skip to 2:20 for the dance. Sorry this video is poor.

SYTYCD Week One

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the Hip Hop piece by Tabitha and Napoleon! I think that Phillip and Jeanine really nailed it! I was a little worried about Jeanine not having hip hop experience, but she really came out and blew me away! I am going to go and watch that one again.

Vitolio and Asuka did a broadway routine and for me it was just okay.

Jonathan and Karla-Cha-Cha it was pretty good but Adam Shankman said, "I would have liked to see a little more roll and but it was good enough for me." I disagree. Jonathan is a Latin dancer I wanted to see him follow through with every roll!

Tony and Paris - Hip Hop. I am not sure if was the remix of Boom, Boom, Pow that was annoying me but I did not love this one. I did not think it was bad, it just wasn't my fave.

Evan and Randi- Contemporary- I liked this one. I thought it was terrible that they had to pick b/t Evan and his brother the top 20.

Jason and Caitlin-Bollywood- I was not sure I liked Caitilin but I loved her performance in the Bollywood routine. Jason did awesome too.

Brandon and Janette- Fox Trot- First just let me say that I think it is weird that Mary loves Brandon to tears and Little C and Mia hate him. I thought they did a beautiful job. I really liked it.

ps Mary Murphy's botox comment was hilarious! I almost cried I laughed so hard.

Kupono and Ashley -Jazz- Wade Robson came up with a very strange routine, but the dancers did a great job.

Ade and Melissa - Contemporary - Was a beautiful dance.

Kayla and Max- Salsa- Awesome. Better hip action from Max than Jonathan. Kayla was so so fun to watch. I can not believe she has never done ballroom.

It is going to be an awesome season!

I would like to see the brothers make it.

I did not like the sisters.

I am not sure yet. I mainly wanted to say BUCK.

Does it make you mad when they string the contestants along or do you like it?
Sometimes it is really annoying because it is so predictable. But if it is not predictable it is kind of fun.

Who is your favorite Choreographer?
I love Tyce Stiorio and of course Mia Micheals. I used to love.... shoot what was that guys name that did the hip-hop and left the show for another MTV version?

Who is your favorite Judge?
I like Nigel because he is so honest and he usually gives worth while feed back.

Tonight was auditions for LA and Seattle. What did you guys think? Who did you love? Who did you hate?

Bad:

*Oh my was that Shikiro guy for real? I laughed the whole time. I love that the judges are nice to the bad contestants and give them good honest feedback!

*I thought he brother and sister pair dance was weird! What did you think?

Good:

*Sammy the red and black striped hair guy that did popping was really fun to watch.

*The girl that danced with Phillip was good. I loved the number they did meshing the contemporary style with the popper style.

*I loved when Adam Shankman did the lindy hop with the contestant. So fun!

Seattle Auditions

It must have been bad because the best they could come up with was
