A reader e-mailed me to let me know that flour is currently $6.49 for a 25 lb bag at Costco. That is the lowest price I have seen in a while. It is good to have at least one of these bags on hand at all times. Especially after the crazy grocery price hikes we saw last summer.While we were there we picked up 2 gallons of whole milk for $3.55, which beats Fred Meyer's $0.99 coupon deal. It may not beat this weeks Albertson's 3/$5, but I do not think that is good on whole milk.
Lastly sour cream was $2.79 for the 3 lb tub. I would guess that it beats most local prices.
(You may not go through a 3 lb tub, but we do!)
