SCR question: can you double dip SCRs? For example, there is a $5 rebate for the metamucil, can I do that and also use the metamucil in my buy $30 get $10 P&G?

I am unable to locate a John Frieda coupon, Is is regional?
Boise area.

Just a comment on the site itself ... very nice how you highlighted the deal ideas in green. It's easy to read and very helpful. I appreciate that "enhancemeent" very much.

I do not know if you already know but I thought I would tell you just in case...I got a $4 catalina for buying 5 or more boxes of Post cereal and it says it goes until 3/21, Hopefully that sale is soon!

I had a day out with my daughter today and had 10 of the B1G1 Covergirl coupons. We got 20 covergirl items and 3 Scunci sets that were clearanced for half off for $9.14, of that $4.67 was tax. You can buy more of these coupons on ebay.

Where do I find all the SCR #41, #18, etc? Are those SC Johnson Rebates? What is an SCR and where do I find them?

Completely love your site! I'm in Poky; could there be a chance that the coupons in our SS are not the same as in Boise? I didn't see the one for Biore products.

We didn't get the John Frieda or Biore products in our local ad ( Boise), but I did find some $3/2 any John Frieda product tear pad coupons at Rite Aid you can use. I was at the Rite Aid on Meridian and Cherry Lane.

I had the WORST experience ever at Rite Aid today!!! I forgot my coupon policy (go figure) and I was told they do not have one in the store... so I placed the covergirl items on hold, drove ALL the way home and got it. When I got back, they still were not ok with using the B1G1 coupons with the B1G1 sale, and told me that they state "one coupon per purchase" I was there arguing with the lady for at least 3o minutes, while she treated me as if I don't know what I am doing. I DID however walk out of there with 14 items, and will be contacting corporate immediately in the morning!!! Craziness, and she was so rude to top it all off!

One Thrifty Chick: Which Rite-Aid was it? I went to the one in Boise/Garden City whose nearest cross street was State and Glenwood and they were great. The manager even helped me with my question. He said he loves combos like this because they get more business. He just wished he knew which coupons were out there so he could order more for match ups like this.

Mel - YES you can double dip - they are 2 different SCR's so you get the $5 for 1 metamucil and the $9.99 counts towards the $30 P&G spend.

Barbara - unfortunately these coupons appear to be regional :(

Lindsay - SCR stands for Single Check Rebate - that is Rite Aids rebate program. You submit your receipts online monthly and at the end of the month request a single check.

One Thrifty Chick - WOW hate when that happens - my Rite Aids are AWESOME! Some of the smaller stores used to be a different chain and those are the ones I hear most issues with. Try a different Rite Aid OR call customer service and ask. I have known people to do that right in the store - though thank goodness I have not had to.

HOPE THAT HELPS!!

I tried to call corporate, but they are not open on Sundays. I will be e-mailing them tonight to get this cleared up, and I am requeting some coupon training for the supervisors in that store. I had 2 managers telling me the same thing, and not wanting to budge. After this, I will NOT be shopping in that store.

Thanks Maven of Savin'!

I went to the Rite Aid on Overland and Orchard and the cashier was GREAT!! He said that their cashiers know their BOGO free policy and they will honor all the coupons you have!

What is the first coupon you post in the deal idea boxes? (-$3/$15 in the John Frieda box) Is it a coupon? Where did you get it?
