{I love doing them quite frankly. No really. I do!}
This is what I've been using the past few years... (and I love it!)
Federal is FREE. You have the option to upgrade to the "Deluxe Version", but you don't pay until you file! This is after you see how much you're getting in return (or, if you're unlucky, how much you have to pay). Did that make sense? You don't pay a PENNY until you actually file. And that is only if you do the upgrade and/or state!
I love it because it is easy to use. It guides you through the entire process step by step. And if you have questions, there are help forums. You don't even have to open a new screen to find the answer to your question! Super easy. Love it. Taxes here I come!!!

Idaho State taxes are also free if you go through the Idaho tax site to get to their site and qualify for a free return (I've done this for the last three or more years. )
Although we still use an accountant for our taxes (we have some random things that make filing a little more challenging) we use TurboTax to walk us through the whole processes, ask us the right questions, get all our paper and ducks in a row and get an idea of our return. THEN, we have everything we need to take to our tax guy and we usually get a bit more in return through him, but we were able to have an idea of where we stood before we went in.
