“We the People” Liberty Day Parade. 11 am, Downtown Boise.
Tea Party Celebration BBQ. 5-9 p.m. Julia Davis Park by the band shell.
Food: Hamburgers, hotdogs, beverages Special Event: Tribute to the Troops!
There will be a donation box to help pay for dinner and postage to send care packages to the troops. Bring your American flag and dress in red, white, and blue! If you want to contribute a care package for the troops, contact Tara Lehman, 208-870-4358, e-mail: atarweber@hotmail.com, or bring items to the BBQ. The USO recommends snacks, instant soup, hot chocolate, powdered drink mixes, magazines, CDs, board games, unscented lotion, sun screen, lip balm, wet wipes, and socks. YOU COULD TAKE TUNA!

Ann Morrison Park celebrates 50th year.
Free daytime events in the park at the east end of the fountain.
3:00-5:30 p.m. - relay races, capture the flag, soccer and crafts
5:30-6:30 p.m. - Boise Municipal Band
6:30-7:00 p.m. - Official ceremony
10:15 p.m.-Fireworks
Caldwell:
United We Stand parade 10 am. Caldwell Memorial Park.
Activities, music, games, food vendors. Fireworks show at Simplot Stadium.
Emmett:
Emmett 100 year anniversary. Island Sports Complex. 5-11 p.m.
Live music, food, fireworks and fun!
Idaho City:
Old Fashion 4h of July family fun day: Parade at noon. Activities, games, food. 12-4 p.m.
Melba:
Old Tyme 4th of July Fun Run, Parade, Arts and Craft Fair, car show, childrens games, 3 on 3 b-ball tourney, tractor pull, horseshow, and chicken round-up.
Meridian:
Meridian Family 4th of July celebration. Storey park. 7 pm-dusk.

Middleton:
Middleton Firefighters 4th of July Breakfast: 6:30-11:30 a.m.
Middleton Parade 12:00 p.m
Fireworks:dusk
Mountain Home:
4th of July Festival 8-am-dusk. Carl Miller Park. Breakfast, childrens activites, art in the park, car show, pageant, Fireworks.
*Kuna, Ketchum, McCall and Sun Valley also have fireworks displays
