A friend of mine took advantage of a few of the Target deals this morning. When she got home, she noticed that both of the Kraft Mayos she had purchased had already expired. The shelf had been cleared, and she got the last of them. That tells me there are probably a few of you out there who also took advantage of the deal, and now have expired mayonnaise sitting in your pantry. Just a heads up to check the dates if you happened to be shopping at the Target on Eagle Rd. Thanks for the head up Joey!
On a side note, because of the manner in which most couponers shop (stocking up on a great sale item), it is a good idea to pay close attention to expiration dates. You might think buying cereal or crackers is a safe bet because the shelf life is typically long. But many times a box of Raisin Bran that expires in a year, will be sitting next to a box that expires in 3 months. A quick glance at the date will keep you from having to feed your family Raisin Bran for breakfast lunch and dinner once the expiration nears!
