It looks like in the walgreens ad it also has a rebate on the gloucose meter. So does that make it a 19.99 overage?

Oh yes you could submit the MIR I was just checking on the ESR and there is none, so I am glad you re-worded that.
You can submit for the rebate I believe, just read the terms of the rebate to be sure there are no restrictions!

My Ecotrin coupon wouldn't go through... the cashier said it was because the item only cost $2, so I couldn't take off $2.25 and she said she would be fired if she put in "manufacturer's coupon for $2" any ideas...? Try another store?
At Target they will adjust the value of the coupon down to the price of the item. I think Walgreens should do the same. Next time ask for a manager and see what they say.
Did you buy more than just the Ecotrin in that transaction?
Most Walgreens stores that I've been to will adjust the value of the coupon down. If your store doesn't, go to State and Horseshoe Bend Rd, Eagle & Chinden, or call and talk to the manager at any store near you to find out if they do too! I have done it several times at both those stores. Also, when you buy an Ecotrin, it will print another coupon for $2 off any Ecotrin!
