Old Navy is TARDY!

The supermodelquin has never been wrong before and if they were having problems they could have let us know via twitter, facebook, ON weekly or the mi80 blog. What jerks!

My first time too. I stayed up till 1:30. I last checked at 2:30 when my son woke up. Then my baby woke up at sixish. Not early enough to get any good coupons, just enough to leave me tired all day. Not cool ON!!

Ya, I am so over the ON coupons. I stayed up ALL night a previous week and got nothing to show for my lack of sleep. I think it is ridiculous!

I checked at 4am when I heard our puppy wake up and start whining to be let out - and it still wasn't refreshed at that point. So sometime between 4 and 6 is when they must have done it. I think it's ridiculous. But look how bad our coupon addictions are! We are willing to lose major amounts of sleep!! Lol! Maybe next week!

Someone has GOT to be kidding me... I woke up at like 3 in the morning thinking I should go check the ON site and then thought better of it. What a bummer!!!!

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this (and I stayed up until almost 3am) but I don't understand what anyone has to be angry about. This is something super cool that ON has chosen to do... that they don't have to! And, if we're lucky enough to score one of the high value coupons, then YIPEE! But if not, oh well. We didn't have it to start with.
And, they can update anytime they want to... and stuff happens. My understanding was that they had planned to update Sunday, but were having some problems with their server which delayed the update. Oh well...
I just think its wierd to get mad when someone is offering something for nearly free. AND, if everyone writes and complains, they'll just stop doing it. And who does that benefit?

Erin,
I can see your point and I completely respect it, but I think it is bigger than being angry because we didn't score coupons. It just so happened that yesterday was also the day it was made official that Kmart would not be doubling after numerous emails and phone calls confirmed they would be. So that was a let down entirely unrelated, which is why, and I can't speak for everyone, staying up to score a good coupon was the light at the end of the tunnel.

Also, the group of us on here chatting back and forth were extremely excited. And the banter back and forth increased the energy and excitement. So when it didn't happen as we were told it would, the letdown was pretty big.

Finally, I love Old Navy and I think what they are doing is awesome. Obviously, I love a good deal. But for those who rely on those emails generated from ON corporate through their marketing firms, to pass on accurate info to the hundreds that read these couponing blogs, it becomes a big deal when they send false information. Then, that false information is, in turn, passed on and readers begin to hesitate when trusting the info on this, and other sites.

Hope that sheds some light on where we (I) were coming from at least.

Erin- Okay maybe sucks is to strong of a word. I was really tired and disapointed last night. I just think that if a company is going to do something they ought to do it right. Telling people to check for coupons on Sunday and not having them til monday is rude and a lie. I hate liars. They could have notified us that they were having problems if that was the case, and I would have understood. I do not feel entitled to a coupon I just feel that when you say you are going to do something you should do it. If no one lets them know that they didn't like it they may continue to take advantage of that. You are right ON does not have to offer these cool coupons, but it is there marketing strategy and it is working isn't it? It is not like they are losing money to give us the coups, quite the opposite, it is making them more money! I would just like them to be considerate about wasting peoples time! I do not think that is too much to ask from a company.

I changed SUCKS to is TARDY. Hope I didn't offend too many people. I was just annoyed and sometimes it is hard to tell someones tone in their writing. Sorry if I came off the wrong way.
