$1/1 Special K Protien Shakes
$1/1 Special K Crackers
$1/1 Litehouse
$1/1 Wisk
BOGO Quiznos Sub
$1/2 Hefty Plates
$2/1 Listerine

and PLEASE tell me you already got the Haagen Dazs, Eggo Bake Shop, and any brand milk, cheese, and yogurt Qs!

Head over to coupons.com if you haven't! These items may not be on sale now, but they could be soon (most don't expire for a month). If it is something you'd like, or like to try, then print it up before it's gone!

Target Coupons in the Mail

Tip from our FAB reader Kim! I got these coupons in the mail today as well... so you may have too!

I got some target coupons in the mail today. I must of signed up on target for these because I get them every few months. They had a $4.00 off fusion razor /or Venus embrace, Venus spa breeze system razor then I used the $4.00 manufacture coupon for the fusion and got the item for .44 cents originally it was 8.44. The manufactured coupon for the Venus is only $3.00 off though. So it would cost you $1.44. But you can combined the target coupons with either one. I thought you might want to pass it on to others who get these coupons in the mail too.

DOUBLISHNESS FUN

Just a peak at some of the fun I've had at Albies this past week

(note: I did this in 3 separate transactions at each store... I visited 3 stores so I wasn't "wiping" anyone out).

In this picture:
  • 16 boxes of Pillsbury Brownie Mix - FREE (only paid tax plus the $1.84 to purchase/ship them via eBay - did this at 2 different stores in 4 different transactions)
  • 2 gallons of milk .45 (includes tax)
  • 12 Capri Suns (again, multiple transactions/stores/purchase coupons from eBay) $4 plus tax
  • Taco Bell stuff - just used as "filler" so I could get to my 10 items in the promo
  • Dannon 6-pack Yogurts - came to $.49-$.99/each because I purchased coupons on eBay for $1 (shipping was free)
  • Tuna - .25/pouch plus got a $1 catalina
  • MISSING: 6 Hagaan Daaz ice cream cups (2 consumed by my daughter and me, the rest in the freezer so the small ones could remain unaware of their existence!!)
This was all purchased Saturday afternoon at 3 different Albertsons. The one closest to me was wiped out of a lot of the stuff, so I went a few miles to two other stores.

PURCHASED: 54 items
PREFERRED SAVINGS: $66.84
SAVED WITH COUPONS: $29.00
SAVED WITH DOUBLES: $17.50
COST of eBay COUPONS: $6.84 (incl shipping - I still have some coupons left to use)
STORE OOP: $15.82
TOTAL OOP: $22.66
(ave less than .42 per item)

This doesn't include the 4 other stops I did the day before and the last one I did that evening with my sister.

Over Friday and Saturday I made 8 stops at 3 different stores and did (these numbers include above numbers):

PURCHASED: 100 various items - reg Albertsons inflated price would have been: $225.22
PREFERRED SAVINGS: $132.72
SAVED WITH COUPONS: $65.50
SAVED WITH DOUBLES: $27.00
TOTAL OOP: $44.20
SAVED 81%

In my pantry, storage and fridge I now have:

Tuna fish pouches, brownie mix, Capri Suns, Haagen Dazs ice cream cups, milk, yogurt, bread, popcorn, Kashi bars, CPK Pizzas, Bagel Bites, Cherry 7-up for my man, Trident Gum, bottled water, and fresh peaches.

Carpri Suns are saved for camping, when we have to bring a "treat" for sports teams, and school field trip cold lunches. These will last us the remainder of the year. Many staples in my pantry and fridge, and my husband is addicted to Cherry 7-up... I'd rather stock up at a good price than have him pick it up at (gulp) a convenience store for an arm and a leg! And Costco can't even beat less than .06 per water bottle.

I also taught my 10 year old daughter the value of a dollar. She's decided even if she has a lot of money when she grows up (hey, they're feeling the unemployment pinch!), she's still going to use coupons. :)

Tuna Fish!!!

Hey you fab gals!

My favorite Albertsons location has confirmed with me that they will be getting a shipment of tuna fish tomorrow! YAY! The shipment should arrive between 9 am and noon. So if you want to head on over after that you can get some. They are all out of the -$1.50/3 tuna fish coupons, however. So this is great for those of you who already have coupons (THANKS CHERYL)! I'll post when I confirm that the shipment has arrived tomorrow morning. The store is at 36th and State St in Boise. Click here for directions. If you haven't heard about the tuna fish deal, check out the post about it HERE.

Baby Food at Albertsons - FREE!

Thanks to our FAB reader Hiccups for sending in this deal scenario she found!!

I bought a couple of clearanced Gerber 2nd foods jars and got a catalina for $1/3 Gerber 2nd foods. Went back to the baby food and grabbed 2 of the 55 cent jars and 1 of the plastic box 2 packs (which are on for 90 cents). Used a doubler with my catalina coupon & just paid 6 cents tax AND another $1/3 catalina came out. I did this exact thing several times. (I did grab a 59 cent jar in one of my sets and paid a whole 11 cents that time, lol.) I have no idea how long this will last, but I just know some of your readers will want to give it a try. I'm going back on Monday to see if I can roll a few more sets.

Doin' the happy dance,
Hiccups

Our Readers are FABULESS!

I just want to give props to our readers... always so willing to share via comments what they've learned, who's out of what, and where they found a particular item or coupon.

You ladies rock!

Other FAB readers, such as Crissie and Hiccups (love that name Cheryl!) have gone above and beyond!

Crissie shared with us how she knew she would end up with a slew of Albertsons doublers, and that she was willing to SHARE! Talk about going above and beyond!!
Stuffed, alphabetized and the whole nine yards!

I can only imagine how much time she and her husband took doing that for complete strangers!
Show her a little bloggy love and go to her blog and click on this picture...
She's in a contest and the more clicks from her site, the more likely she is to win that cool bike!!

And then Hiccups ended up with quite a few $1.50/3 Tuna Coupons that she found - the HOT item of the week! Instead of selling them on eBay or keeping them for herself, she kindly offered them to strangers and shared the couponing love.

You ladies are FABULESS indeed!

I'm proud to be associated with such FAB couponers via this blog!

Fabuless Dining 70% OFF!

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 300 x 250

Use the code RECIPE to get 70% off PLUS a $10 GIFT CARD on your Fabuless
Offer Expires June 30th.
For a tutorial on how it is done go HERE!

NOTE: The code for your FREE $10 Gift Certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
The FREE $10 offer is not valid on Dinner of the Month purchases.

There's a catch right? Well kind of. When you redeem your certificate you have to have a bill that is at least $35 (some are now $50). So you buy the certificate for $3, you have to spend at least $35, then they take off $25 and add 18% gratuity based on the original bill. Total cost for you will be $18 including the original $3 (based on 70% discount) for the certificate. $35bill-$25gc=$10+$6tip+$3cert=$19. We love it because we will order a dessert or appetizer which we would not normally order!

Have you guys actually done this? Yes, we would not put it on here if we hadn't. I have redeemed certificates at Ono Hawaiian Cafe, and twice at Donnie Mac's Trailer Park. I have certificates waiting to spend at Asiago's and Cafe Vicino.
I am not worried I have one year to use them! Cathy has purchased them as well. I think she chose Asiago's. Natricia has used them at Fiesta Gadalajara.

Is this only for local readers? No, When you get to the site you enter in your zip code to get restaurants local to you! I love it because it gives me an excuse to try and support local restaurants in my city (46 to choose from). If I was to go to Portland for the weekend I could buy one and try out their local digs.

I want to eat out tonight. Do I have to wait for the certificate to arrive in the mail? No, you print it from your home computer. If you can't print right away they will email you the certificate.
Some local faves:
Asiagos
Carinos
donnie macks
Fiesta Gaudalajara
Melting Pot
Ono Hawaiiian Cafe
Ricks Press Room
Lock Stock & Barrel
and many more!!
The code works on all of the certificates!

SYTYCD Week 3 TOP 16

This is my all time fav SYTYCD Routine. It is from Season 4. Mark and Chelsie

I only caught the 1st hour tonight, it was a busy night.

My fav routine from the 1st hour was Brandon and Janette's Hip Hop!

I liked Melissa and Ade's dance, but that dress was way to scandalous to post on our site, but you can watch it on youtube! That is a direct link to the routine.
Speaking of scandalous I did not like Janette's get up either. I really don't like the trashy costumes. What do you think?

I think that Jonathan should go home. I did not like his hip hop at all, and he disappointed me with his Latin a few weeks ago. He is just not as good as many of the other men on the show.

Asuka is my pick to go home for the ladies. There is just something about her that bugs me.

Who do you think should go home?

So what did you guys think of the second hour? I have not been able to find any video yet.

Oh Just found this one of Catlin and Jason. I like it! Love the Roman Theme!

Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Tune in tonight at 8pm for the results show!

Here is what I purchased today. Not pictured my 2 gallons of Milk for .17 each!

If you missed out on how to get the Milk for .17 see Cathy's post here.

My produce rule is to get produce that is on a 4 or 5 star deal according to PYP that week. So you don't have to go to multiple stores!
So I bought Peaches and Nectarines .99 lb. 4 star
I was in a rush so I forgot to buy:
Eat Smart cut vegetables 10-12 oz. $1.00 5 star
Hot House tomatoes 1.49 lb. 4 star
Leaf lettuce - green, red, or Romaine $0.99 5 star
Russet potatoes 10 lb. bag $1.99 4 star

Bagel Bites $2 x 4 = $8
Tuna $1.25 x 6 =$7.50

Used (2) $1/2 Bagel Bites coupons and doubled
Used (2) $1.50/3 Tuna coupons

Saved $7 with coupons

Bought 10 items in promotion got $5 off instantly!

Final Price: $3.50 for everything after coupon and deal!
Plus I got a $1 catalina coupon to use next time so it was like paying only $2.50

We love these instant Breakfast shakes. I even got the ok from Dr. O to drink them. Sorry Cathy, but he said they are way better for you than cereal! ;)

They are $2.50/box after deal, coupon & doublers

This is not a killer price on these, but it is about as good as I can find. When ever I can get them for less than .27/serving I stock up. These were .25/serving!

Now for my Fab Finds!
Haagan Daaz Ice Cream cups $1 each

Used $1/3 coupon here
Doubled to save another $1
Final Price: $1 for 3 or .33 each.

I used the ice cream cups as a filler for the bread.

This Roman Meal Bread is priced at $1.98!
Find a pink peelie on the bottom for $1 off
Use doubler. SAVE another $1
Final Price: .02 overage

The bubbles are pictured b/c Albertsons will not pay you to shop in the store, so the bubbles ended up being my filler item to bring the subtotal back above negative. I was not thinking ahead or I would have used my produce or something I was needing as a filler. This is what I grabbed when the checker said to me, "we can not pay you to shop here."

Total .48

These Hefty bags were in the clearance for $3.99

I used $1 off from RP 5/17 and doubled my coupon!

Remember to always check the clearance section!

FYI- When I bought my Tuna these coupons printed with my $1 catalina for $1/3 and $2.50/7.

This may or may not happen for you. May vary by store!

Albertsons and your Omega-3's

Sometimes it seems that the only things you can get on a good sale is processed foods.

Here is a staple that is GOOD for you (my chiro tells me I need it for the omega 3's) that you can get CHEAP!!

The StarKist tuna fish is a part of the "Epic Savings Event".

If you purchase it in a group of 10 participating items, you're tuna will be marked down to .75

After check out, a MC for $1/3 off StarKist Tuna Pouches will print out.

You'll also receive a $1 catalina at checkout to use on your next order, for every 5 you buy.

Some stores have tear pads for $1.50/3 pouches (feel free to share where you found some in the comments!).

Purchase 10 pouches for $3 and and receive some goodies at checkout!

Not to fishy at all!

ps - this is a pretty hot sale... might be a good idea to put an order in if you want a lot of tuna!!

pss - grab the little box that holds the pouches. You're kidlets will have be entertained for hours playing "store".

Albertsons 6/24-6/30

As we previously confirmed, you'll find two "twice the value" (aka: doublers) coupons in the Albertsons ad today.

Not sure where to get some? See our post about WHERE TO GET THE DOUBLES.

And be sure to check out our preview post which lists what coupons do you want to collect and where to find them?

The promo sale is nice and simple. Pick out 10 participating items, save $5 instantly. So basically you're saving an additional $.50 on the sale prices. Add coupons, and add doubles, you could be getting some free stuff! See previous post for some ideas and we'll be posting scenarios soon!

Fabuless Coupon Tip Tuesday: Shopping From Your Pantry

My husband went on a camping trip last week and he needed some snacks for the drive and the camping. This is the very reason that I stockpile junk food. We do not eat most of this stuff on a daily basis at our house, but when we are on trips or up camping it is nice to have.
If he would have just gone to the store to buy this stuff it would have cost us around $30, (probably more b/c you know he would have picked up a few random extras).
We shopped my pantry for these items and all if it only cost me about $3. 90% Less!

Where to get the Doubles

So reader Julee posed the question...
Can you recommend a good place to get extra copies of Wed's paper?
Why Julee, YES WE CAN!

If you get a daily subscription to The Idaho Press Tribune, or The Idaho Statesman, you'll find one set in there, of course. (Be sure to check out those links for some great newspaper deals!)

When you go to the store, you can go to customer service and they will give you ONE (at least all the stores I've ever been too only hand out one).

You could also purchase a Wednesday paper. I know from past experience it was $.75 at Fred Meyers. So I'm sure it will be less than $1 at Albertsons.

ALSO - Thanks to our Fab Reader Crissie... she shared this info with us last time we posted about finding doublers.

The Statesman delivers a "Total Market Coverage" paper on Wednesdays to all Boise and Meridian non-subscribers. If you haven't seen them in your area, call the Statesman and tell them that TMCs aren't being delivered in your neighborhood. The carriers are paid to get them out to non-subscribers and we haven't seen them in our subdivision for a few months.

However, my in-laws have done TMC delivery for years and even after all of their papers are delivered, they average about 100 leftover, so obviously I am more than stocked up on Wednesday's Albertson's ad and up to my ears in Doublers. I try to spread the wealth around to my fellow couponers.

Most people consider these papers a nuisance, since they didn't ask for them and they should be really easy to collect from your neighbors as long as they're being delivered in your area. If not, give Greg White at the Statesman a call. (Not sure if this is the right number for Greg White, but it is the circulation desk #: 377-6370)
SOOOO. Did you catch what she said?

She will SHARE her excess doublers!

She is currently in a contest. If she can be one of the top 20 traffic drivers for the Madsen Bike site, she'll possibly win a new bike! (She's going back to school in the fall (shes a mother of 5... brave woman!) and could REALLY use this bike!). If you could go to her site and click on the cute picture of the bike 5, 10, or even 20 times (or more if your heart so desires!) to show her some LOVE, she'd be forever grateful! (I know I am very grateful for her willingness to share her doubles!).

THEN email her at Thefieldsfab5@aol.com (after you've worked your little clicker finger!), let her know how many of these TMC's you'd like and she'll write your name on them and leave them by her front door. She lives in the Eagle/Victory area (she'll even give you her address).

So there - I've given you 4 different ways to collect some Double Coupon sets! And just one assignment to help a FELLOW FAB reader out too!

Have fun.
Be nice.
Don't hoard.
Mwah!

Dannon Light & Fit Nonfat Yogurt, any 6 oz. cups $1/10 or any (2) Light & Fit 6-packs SS-6/21 (again, another coupon Idaho did not get. There are many Dannon Yogurt Coupons available on eBay. I just ordered 20 for $1.99) Using these coupons AND doubling will get you 6 packs of yogurt for .50!

This is all for now (Don't tell Dr O - but I've got a headache after this!)... start collecting and start printing. We'll have more scenarios for you later.

PLUS - Where to gather up your DOUBLERS and how to do it WITH OUT HORDING!)

OH - ps, a note about eBay. I've done this a lot of times. Actually, I've purchased and sold things on eBay for years. You can set up your own account, and you'll want to set up a Pay Pal account too (both are free and trusted), I've NEVER had a problem with either in the many years I've done eBay.

When you find the coupon you're looking for (feel free to use our links to get to your product), CHECK THE SELLERS rating first. I only shop with sellers that have a rating of 98-100% positive. ALSO - since this sale doesn't end for another 8 days, I KNOW I'll get my coupons on time. That is one reason we like to give you this sneak peak - so you can gather up what you need!

IDEA - Split the coupons with a friend (or friends). You may not need 20 coupons for Pillsbury Brownies. It could cost anywhere from $2-$9 (with shipping) for these 20 coupons (mine were $1.99 today) - but they are worth $20 to you... and $40 if you DOUBLE! (Make sure the coupon you are buying can be doubled - look closely at the picture. IF there is no picture, I don't buy). So my point is, it is worth your money, when you'll be saving 3 times as much as you spend! And splitting the cost and the coupons will save you even more money!

Q's about eBay? Email me or leave your Q in the comments!

Thats all for now folks!

And, thanks PYP!
