Buy 1 Dreyer's Fruit Bar $1.99

Final Price: $11.46 ($1.16 per 1.5qt of ice cream)
Too bad the Dreyer's coupons are expired. :(

The back page has some manufacturer coupons that you could double, but if you ask me the final price on them is insulting to a couponer. If you need some of the back page items they would not be a bad price, but do not stock up!

If you have any FAB double ideas feel free to share in the comments!

At our Albertson's (so I assume at all Albies), the Starbucks ice cream is also in the Chill deal, and there is a $1/1 coupon available (and I think you can double it) on the Starbucks ice cream site. I looked at it yesterday, but I thought it was still a little expensive, though maybe not if you doubled the coupon. Anyway, just FYI.

Kraft mac & cheese is on sale for $.79. I have a couple of $1/5 coupons, which would make them $.39 each using a doubler. Not a bad deal.

Starburst bagged candy is on sale for $1.88. I have a couple of coupons for $1/2 bags, so they'd be $.88/bag wyb 2. I don't buy candy hardly ever so don't really know if this is a great price -- your thoughts? With Easter coming up I'm starting to look for candy deals.

Are the doublers in today?

So I noticed at the bottom of the ad a promo called Refund Rewards. Is it really just as simple as buying the gift card for either $250 or $3000 and just getting the extra $20 or $30 dollars added for free? No strings attached or anything? Does anyone know whether the gift cards expire or not?

Sophie said...

Oops I meant $300 not $3000.

Amber said...

Good catch Sophie! They ran the same promo last year and I LOVED! $30 might not seem like much, but to a couponer... Anyway, no they do not expire so purchase away!

insulting to a couponer, lol but I totally agree. I only thought the orange juice was a good deal!

Is the Haagen-Daz part of the chill promo??

Also, if anyone has extra post coupons I am looking for a few.

Thanks!

I was told today (unsolicited) that the Dreyers sale is NOT included in the promo for Chill.

Has anyone actually ran the deal yet with the ice cream in it???? If you did, where did you do it at?

THanks!
Anna

I purchased the dreyers ice cream a few weeks ago in the chill deal, with a $1 off coupon. It worked fine. Maybe just the bogo deal is out?

I might buy a $200 card, hmmm, thanks for letting us know!

Rowley FAMILY: YES there are doubles

Sophie: The gift card deal is pretty awesome. I was saving it for a post today.

Kristina: I do not think Haagen-daz is part of the Chill deal.

Miss Anna B: Dreyers certainly is part of the deal. All the same items have triggered the cat for the last three weeks. Some stores have lists in the freezer section listing all participating items. Dreyers is on there.
I have not tried it today, but I am sure it works. If I were to have a problem I would just show them one of those lists. I have seen them at the 12th/greenhurst store in Nampa.

Off topic but this is a great one day sale! Princess and the Frog DVD for 3.95 today only!

There is an RC Willey ad (in yesterday's paper) for today that has the DVD on sale for 8.95. Price match that ad at Walmart and use the internet printable for $5 off the DVD and total will be $3.95. Best yet, NO MAIL IN REBATE NEEDED!

About the Princess & Frog movie: Do I need an ad to walk into RC Willey and purchase that? Can you provide a link to the online coupon? I am headed down Eagle Road in a couple of hours and would love to stop in and purchase that!!! Thank so much!

Sophie said...

Im not sure if RC Willey takes manufacturers coupons, but you caould always take the ad to Walmart and have them price match it as well. Then you can for sure use your coupon.

Emily said...

You don't need an ad to purchase it at RC Willey but it says limit one per family whie supplies last. If you pick up an ad from RC Willey and take it to Walmart then you can use your printable coupon. Here is the link:

You can also get the Blue ray for a few dollars more 14.95-5.00= $9.95.

When I did my transactions for the Chill Promo, my Albertson's also printed out a $1.50 off coupon on Rosetto pasta in addition to the Catalinas.

Kristen said...

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but today I got 4 post cereals and got a $3.00 catalina. Makes the cereal a really great deal!!

I would suggest you look at the Nabisco Premium saltine crackers. They are on sale for $1.99 each. At my store there was a coupon taped to each one of them for $1off, doubled = FREE. I got 6 of them. One of the VERY helpful employees suggested it

Jamie said...

What am I missing with the Dryers deal? It says total OOP is $21.46, isn't it supposed to be $25?

Fabulessly Frugal said...

Pretty sure my math was right.

$6.49x3=$19.47
+$1.99=$21.46

You only pay for 3 ice creams and get 6 FREE!

Monica, you're right. I am getting this Albertsons deal mixed up with the Safeway deal where you have to spend $25 to get a $10 cat. I forgot Albertsons was purchase 10 items! :)

So with the Post Deal, I found this to be the best scenario:

4 box scenario:
$1.59 per box X 4 = $6.39
Minus $7 (2 $1/2 boxes Coupons, 2 $1 Doublers, $3 Catalina)
Total of -$.61 money maker
(will need to purchase something for $.61 or more to use the rolling catalina)

However most coupon sites are showing the 6 box scenario which only nets you -$.46:
$1.59 per box X 6 = $9.54
Minus $10 (3 $1/2 boxes Coupons, 3 $1 Doublers, $4 Catalina)
Total of -$.46 money maker
(will need to purchase something for $.46 or more to use the rolling catalina)

Clear as mud? It might be just a few cents difference, but every penny counts!

I am super excited! I have been following this site for a while now, but I think today was my biggest money saver!! I went to alberstons, and bought 30 boxes of cereal, and 4 filler items, and only spent $6.68 out of pocket! I also walked out with $4 in catalinas!!! Thanks so much! I wrote about this transaction, and how wonderful you guys are on my blog! www.stampinwithnikki.blogspot.com

Thanks again!

I just got back from Eagle/McMillan Albertsons and they have TONS and TONS of Post cereal. Just thought I'd let you know if you're readers are looking for any.

I just received a catalina for $10/$100, do you have any frugal ideas for this? I was thinking about doing a bunch of chill transactions at once. Do you know if it will only print 1 $10 catalina or will it print one for every 10 items if it's all done at once?

Thanks for all you do and the great advice you give :)

I just went to my Albies and they had danonino yogurt for 2.19. Use $1 from ss double it and pay just $.19. Got to love cheap yogurt.
