I was wondering when someone was going to note this great deal. I actually bought 4 venus razors, so I received 2 $5 gift cards. I used 4 $2 off coupons and 4 buy 1 venus get 1 body wash for free, so I got 4 free olay body washes. And now I am submitting for the rebate! whohoo! great deal :)
How does the rebate work at Target? I bought 3 venus razors and 3 body washes, but the body washes don't show on my receipt. They only show the -5.49 off coupon on the receipt 3 times. So my receipt wouldn't show Olay that I had purchased 3 right? Help!?
I actually kind of got a stinky deal because my target was all out of venus embrace, so I purchased venus breeze instead, and didn't get the g.c's. newbie mistakes! :(

Your receipt should still show the Olay Body Washes and then the coupons should come off at the end. I have never had an item not show up on my receipt before, even if it ended up being free. I would check your receipt again, just to make sure. Even without the other gift card, if you are able to get the rebate, you still have a $5 money maker, which is a great deal!
I thought that every Target ad was the same across the country. Isn't that right? I didn't get any gift cards for buying 3 Olay body washes. AND the post mentions 2 venus BREEZES which I had them ring up, and the actual gift cards were for the embraces. The Breeze razors weren't on sale for 6.99, the enbrace was, AND it wasn't noted on the shelf!
I have a bad habit of not bringing the ad with me, but still, your post says that Olay body washes are buy 3, get a $5 gift card, and my target ad mentioned nothing of the sort.
It was a frustrating shopping trip - I had her take off everything and I left confused.
The body washes are only specific varieties, which are listed. You are correct about the razors, I have fixed that. Sorry for that error, thank you for catching that. The razors should have been marked at the store, and if you're not sure, you can always take something to a price scanner and it will tell you whether or not it will trigger the gift card.
Thanks for replying, AJ. Well I went back to a different Target tonight and got the correct razors. I got the exact Olay ones that you mentioned and it still didn't shoot out a $5 gc, but I was ok with it because of the good rebate.
I found a BUNCH of sale signs (you know, the ones that tell you what the sale prices are & the gc deal) in the back of the shelf below the razors. It was crazy, there were about 4 of them! So I was able to compare the sale prices to the right product, thankfully. It was almost as if someone was trying to hide the prices from people! Or I guess it could have been what most of the time occurs before the week ends.

I went to the Target by the Boise mall today and tried to do the body wash deal...but when they rang it up..no gift card! Weird! I tried with two different kinds too..both priced at $5.49. Hmmm..
I went tonight to take advantage of the deal too and didn't get any gift cards for the body wash OR the razors. They were trying to close and the cashier wasn't really all that interested in working with me. I did get to use all the P&G coupons so I still got a good deal, but pretty bummed that I didn't get the GC's. Was this advertised anywhere so I can see what I did wrong? I'd like to go back tomorrow and try to make it right but am worried that it was only through today.
