Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks for $.10 a box!!

I'm so excited to share this deal that starts 3/3 at Ablertsons!!!
Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks for a buck!

Back in my precoupon days, getting a box of Fruit Snacks for a dollar was pretty dang awesome! Well, let's say it, even today it is awesome!

It gets better - if you recall, there is a CATALINA DEAL running on these!
When you buy FIVE,
you get a catalina (store voucher) for $3.50!!
So now it's like you've paid only
$1.50 for FIVE boxes!
(Yep, that's $.30 a box!)
We like hot sales, and we like coupons, but we LOVE when we combine the two!

We warned you last night to hurry and print the Betty Crocker Fruit Snack coupons at coupons.com (these are gone now). Be sure you also go to Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Box Tops for Education, and smartsource. And remember that you can print each coupon TWICE per computer! (do note that the coupons all read DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE)Many, if not all of these sites will update (or reset) on Monday, so be sure to print some today, and then come back on 3/1 to print them again!

SCENARIO
BUY: (5) boxes of Fruit Snacks, Roll Ups, Fruit by the Foot or Fruit Gushers at $1.00 each
USE: (2) $.50/2 internet printable coupons (listed above)
OOP: $4.00 (plus tax)
RECEIVE: $3.50 catalina
Like paying $.50 for 5 boxes of fruit snacks!

Then DO IT AGAIN! The second time, you will use your catalina to reduce your OOP to $.50 for 5 boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks! (And remember you'll get ANOTHER catalina!)

And remember that this sale doesn't start until Wednesday!

These are great to have on hand to bribe your children to get their jobs done (works wonders for me!), use when your child has the "snack" at their basketball game (or what ever sport your kidlet is in right now), send with your preschooler on his/her snack day, keep in your car for when the little ones get cranky while you're driving around...

What are you going to do with your stockpile of dirt cheap fruit snacks?

I am so glad I trusted you guys and went a head and printed these. Since I have started couponing I have pretty much stopped buying these kind of snacks. My kids are going to love me again! :)

i love your site and have gotten some great tips and even better yet some great bargins. The ad states fruit snacks does the dollar price also include fruit by the foot?

Cathy said...

Thanks Dawn. I'm going to assume that they are included, mostly because anytime the fruit snacks go on sale, the fruit by the foot is also. :) The ad just states 9 oz varieties.

Martha said...

Couldn't you use one doubler too and make them free?

Cathy said...

Martha - Sadly these coupons all say "Do Not Double". :( If we could, we'd have a money maker on our hands!!!

Oh well, I'll be happy with $.10! Ha ha! (I'll update the post because I'm sure there are others who are thinking the same thing!)

Thanks Martha!

I still have 32 boxes from the deal at Safeway that I got all for FREE!! Never hurts to have more though. I love sending kids home with a box when they come over!
Thank you for great deals!

Are the Albertsons deals regional or are they nationwide? I live in Washington State and was wondering if the sale is the same here if I should do a special order so I don't clear the shelves? I am fairly new to couponing and all your tips are great! Thanks for all your help!

Do you have problems doubling a MFR coupon that states DO NOT DOUBLE? I have seen this a lot on different blog sites and if you read the fine print of the twice the value coupon, it does not state anywhere that they won't double those coupons. That is on the (MFR)coupons to protect the MFR. Albertsons pays the double amount, not the MFR. So you aren't breaking the "DO NOT DOUBLE" on the coupon.
I have never had any problems with this and didn't even notice it until I started seeing it on blogs. After a fiasco at our local Albertsons, a local coupon blogger called the Head manager and asked a lot of questions, including this one...he said there was no problem doubling those coupons and that to help with that confusion, Albertsons calls these coupons "Twice The Value" instead of doublers!

Just trying to help!!
Check it out with your local Albertsons...

I guess it depends on the store, and in some cases, the cashier. The store I shop always doubles q's that say DND. But I've been to others that won't.

Sophie said...

Thank you! I had the fruit snacks on my plan for today, but I will substitute something else! This is an awesome deal.

Kopsho1,
I also live in WA state (couponing for 1yr)and we always seem to have the same sales that are listed on Fabulessy Frugal. I've never done a special order, but it seems like a good idea if you are buying a lot.

I am so excited! Thanks for all the hot tips........I LOVE THIS SITE!!!

Julie said...

Yeah, I was wondering, too, if it would include the specific varieties mentioned on the coupon. I hope so! What a great deal!

Most Albies won't double DND with Twice the Value coupons. I saw some blogger once explain why not--the justification is basically that it limits what coupons can be used with the Twice the Value coupons because so many (especially higher-value coupons) say DND. So, to some extent, it limits how much Albertson's is going to have to pay for this. Anyway, most Albies and most cashiers won't do it anymore, even though it's not stated on the Twice the Value coupons and even though it doesn't affect the MFR.

Anyway, what am I going to do with them? Ha...I'll probably end up keeping a secret stash for myself, because (don't tell anyone!) I actually kind of like them myself!

Sophie said...

You know, I really LOVE Albertson's for letting us roll catlalinas! It makes these deals SOOOOO awesome!!

Julie said...

how did you get the ad before it came out?

Cathy said...

Julie - we have a "source". ;)

Phil said...

I went to each of those sites and the pillsbury, the box tops, and the betty crocker seemed to be linked cause I could only print twice on betty crocker and then each of the other sites told me I'd reached my print limit.

Fabulessly Frugal said...

Thanks Phil!

I have a few left from an insert that are not expired so I am getting a few FREE ;)

Kranberry's- what insert are you referring to? thanks

Carolee said...

I like to use fruit snacks to give my kids for birthdays or christmas instead of candy!

Ashlee said...

Is the general mill sale coming up this Wednesday better than the current sale. I will wait if I need to to save some extra money! Thanks for the heads up!

Kathi said...

So my Albertsons (Eagle and McMillan) won't pre-order fruit snacks for me :(. Do you know which stores will? Thank you!

Meaghan said...

I am running into the same problem with pre-ordering the snacks. I have all these coupons and now I am worried I wont beat the crowd to get them. Do you know how long the promo is for the catalina? (Since a rain check wont do much good if they don't restock during the catalina period) Thanks Ladies!

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks (2/22-3/21)
Goes great with this weeks Albertsons sale!
Buy 3, get $1.50 oyno
Buy 4, get $2.50 oyno
Buy 5 or more, get $3.50 oyno

The catalina goes until 3/21 so if your store is out of stock you can just get a raincheck and still have 12 days to get the snacks.

Although the raincheck would probably only be good for one use. So you would only be able to get 5. If you do not want to drive all over town picking up rainchecks from different stores. Just TELL YOUR MANAGERS THIS DEAL IS HOT AND THEY NEED TO ORDER MORE!
Give them an idea of how many you would order. The average couponer with one computer should have been able to print 8 coupons good for 16 boxes of fruit snacks.

Hope that helps!

Sophie said...

At 5&O he wont do any more pre-orders because they think they have plenty and are ordering more based on the feedback they are getting just in case. So go there if your other stores are all out!

ac said...

I printed the coupons online. They dont say that fruit snacks are included like the ones shown on the ad. Will these still work? They are from coupons.com.

Mandy said...

AC is right. These coupons do not include the fruit snacks. They only include Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Gushers, Fruit Roll-Ups or Fruit Stickerz.

ac said...

Darn it...I was hoping to use them on the fruit snacks. Does anyone know if they will work on the fruit snacks?

Sophie said...

So kind of a random question, but can you do self check out at Albertsons with coupons? Obviously this deal cant have doublers so that is not an issue, just wondering if you have to have a cashier help you if you have coupons? Also, im sure it does, but has anyone had a catalina print before at a self checkout?

Amber said...

Sophie,
Depends on the store. Most stores do not allow it because of coupon fraud (some super moral customers were putting slips of paper in the coupon slot instead of actual coupons!). At most of the local stores they have taped over the coupon insert slots, so if you do use coupons you have to wait for someone to come help you anyway. Kind of defeats the purpose of self-checkouts! But, if your store allows it, your catalina will absolutely print at a self-checkout!

Fabulessly Frugal said...

mandy and ac:

My coupons.com coupon reads: Save .50 on two when you buy two boxes ANY FLAVOR betty crocker fruit by the foot, fruit gushers, fruit rolls ups, or fruit roll-ups fruit stickers, FRUIT FLAVORED SNACKS.

That last part is the part that allows you to use it on the fruit snacks. I see that the fruit snacks are not pictured on the coupon but they are allowed by the verbiage. ANY BETTY CROCKER FRUIT FLAVORED SNACK.

So no fear ladies you will be able to use your coupon.

Sophie-
I have used self check out. In one particular store it is all I use b/c the self check cashiers are nicer and have better coupon knowledge than the other cashiers.

but some store will not allow it. You do have to be assisted and have the cashier scan your coupons. THIS DID NOT USE TO BE THE CASE. But there was a abuse.

If you decide to do it just make sure they will help you and that there is some there to help you before you get started.

I have a question! I am new to couponing and I just went to Albertson's Big Chill sale and got all the frozen food I could with the coupons I had. I still have 2 $5 catalinas.. can I use these for the fruit snack sale? Thanks! :)

AJ said...

Katie, you can use those 2 $5 Catalinas for ANYTHING in the store! You can use them on the fruit snack sale, and as long as you buy the right amount, it will still print out the Catalina coupon for buying fruit snacks!

Just remember that if you buy 5 or more fruit snacks, it will still only print a $3.50 Catalina. Even if you bought 10, it would not print two of them. Welcome to couponing!

Your smartsource link told me the certificate for the site could not be validated. When I looked up smartsource coupons on my own it did not show the fruit snacks coupon. Are you sure that is a valid link or site??? I really don't want to use a fake coupon.
Please let me know what you can find out.
Thanks

The coupon verbiage does not include the fruit snacks. It does not have a comma after the fruit stickerz because that is the complete name of the product: Fruit Roll-Ups Fruit Stickerz Fruit Flavored snacks. I know long name but it says it right on the box. i tried this before and was very sad when I read closer on the coupon.

Heads up...I was in a Vancouver Albertsons early this am. Gushers were still marked at 2.59. Manager gladly changed price at checkout...but did not see anyone going over to change it on the isle... It was AWESOME to get 30 boxes of snacks for only $6!!! YAY!!

Julie said...

I went this morning and got 24 boxes of fruit snacks .... the manager gave me $1.00 off two boxes of fruit snacks ... so I bought them in groups of 6 for $3.00 and got the $3.50 off my next purchase ... I didn't use the cat because I didn't want to waste the 50 cents ... but I will use it this week on other things .... so mine were FREE!!!!!!

Cathy said...

WOOOOT!!!! MONEY MAKER!!!

La Center Mom said...

For those that posted earlier questioning the coupon working on fruit "snacks"...it ABSOLUTELY did!!

Jamie said...

Thank you for posting this deal so early so I could gear up for it! My cashier also doubled my coupons. She's the cashier I go to every time, and she said she could go ahead and double the coupons this time. I thought about asking what was up, but didn't want to jinx it! So, I was able to get 6 boxes for .50 instead of 5!

btw, I go the 4th plain Albies in Vancouver, WA.

CC said...

I did this earlier today with just the fruit snacks. Now, here's my question... will the cat work on the fruit roll ups as well?

Fabulessly Frugal said...

CC:

The cat does work on the fruit rollu-ups!

When I shopped in Nampa today I noticed that all the BC FRUIT SNACK PRODUCTS WERE $1. fruit by the foot, fruit gushers, fruit rolls ups, or fruit roll-ups fruit stickers!

Are you seeing this in your store too?

CC said...

Fab Frugal: yep, that's what I saw in my store. I know my kids would love the gushers and fruit roll ups but I didn't want to chance not getting a cat, so I just got the snacks. But...now I'll be back!

Cathy said...

The Overland and Orchard store has a TON of fruit snacks, gushers, and fruit by the foot. A TON!!! I was just there Friday evening.

iJustCoupd! said...

The Cherry and 10 Mile has a lot of fruit snacks....even in the area where you first walk in to grab a cart and also up by the registers.
