Did you use a local Idaho zip for the Angel Soft IE? I did not see it at coupons.com and have not seen one recently.

Mama Yo said...

Cathy - try zipcode 46307 {I'll update the post}.

I think all the Activia and Danactive coupons (but not the ones for Light & Fit) are DND.

Oh...and by the way, I think there is a new 8th Continent printable. I found it on Common Sense with Money. It's through the 8th Continent Facebook. It's for $1.50 off one, and it is good until August or something like that.

Eek Julie you are right. THanks

So what is the best store to get a bunch of extra doublers?

I almost hate when they do doublers in the Wed paper because I don't go in with 18 doublers to start off. And it seems most the stores are really strict on the "one ad per person" thing.

Mama Yo said...

LOCALS: No worries - we'll have extra doubles for you!!

Rebecca Davidson said...

Haha I actually emailed you this morning about that. I saw that post right after I left that comment! Thanks! :)

FYI: I tried the Kellogg's deal at the Boise-Cole & Fairview store today and the Catalina did not print. It did print at the Five & O store though. Weird. The folks at the Fairview store said there was nothing they could do since it was not advertised in the Albies ad this week. Bummer. I ended up returning the cereal..is that terrible? When you are trying to save pennies, $4 is a lot!

Jakie-

I would have returned them too! That is weird that the cat did not print. It should not be different b/t stores. Sometimes it is due to a cartain machine not working or not being turned on. YUP IT HAS HAPPENED.

Mama Yo said...

Jackie - you're right. You can make $4.00 go FAR when you coupon the right way! I would have returned it as well. One other thing to consider is to call 1-888-8COUPONS (1-888-826-8766) (in case Cats don't print) open from 7AM - 8PM EST M-F

Doubler question (yep newbie!!)
What happens if doubling the manu coupon puts the total over the price of the product? Do they adjust? Does the extra just go toward the rest of the order?

Amber said...

Mel,
First, we LOVE newbies! :) Next, it depends on the cashier. Some will adjust the doubler down to bring your total to zero, while others will allow an overage. My recommendation is to have other filler items handy just in case, so you aren't left scrambling to bring your total above zero if the cashier allows an overage.

Mel said...

Another doubler question...
If they run out of an item and I get a reincheck for it... can I hold that reincheck (assuming it does not expire) untill doublers come out again and then use the reincheck, coupons and doublers?!?! Will they honor that?

Mama Yo said...

Mel -

With most stores, YES, you can use your raincheck, coupons, and doubles at the same time. I think I've only heard of one time where a store wouldn't let a reader do that. Ther is still time to place an order if you're wanting a lot of a particular item!

BTW - I spoke with Damien a 5&O and he's ordered a lot of the Ronzoni pasta. It'll be in on Saturday! {They are currently OUT!}

I noticed today at the Cole & Fairview store that they had some of their Cover Girl make up on clearance. I went back tonight and used doublers to get foundation for $.74 a piece. Great price! The coupon I used was from the 2/7 P&G insert for $1.00 off. There is also a coupon in that insert for B1G1 Free. Some cashiers might let you combine the two?? I'm new at this and wasn't brave enough to ask! Great deal even with just the doublers! They also have make up on clearance at Five & O but not as much selection(at least today). Lots of other items on clearance too...All detergent, toothpaste. Worth checking out if you have coupons for those items. (Sorry this is a long comment!) ;)

Jackie- No worries about the long comment! We love the insider info. Comment away!

I tried to use my Loreal $1/1 coupon on the clearance $.99 items tonight and they said no. Oh well. I was still able to get 6 boxes of pasta for $0.00!! LOVE shopping for free!! (thanks to doubles!)

Is it only Frosted Flakes to get the catalina?
Thanks

GaoyouMom said...

There's a coupon for $.55 off Sara Lee bread at Red Plum. It says "Earth Grains" but when it prints it is really for Sara Lee.

The Sara Lee bread is on sale for $1.79, so that makes it $.69 with a doubler. I think that's a pretty good deal, and we're low on bread right now.
