Albertsons Double Deals 1/31-2/2

Some weeks it is hard to decide what to spend doubles on. This week all we can think about is QUAKER!

Here are the Quaker scenarios Cathy put together earlier in the week:

HOPEFULLY YOU BOUGHT YOUR COUPONS ON EBAY!!!!

$5.00 - (5) boxes of granola bars
- $2.00 - (2) $1.00/2 Quaker Granola Bars- $2.00 - (2) doubles
- $0.55 - (1) $.55/1 Quaker Granola Bars - $0.45 - (1) double {they will most likely adjust this down to $.45 so you don't get overage}
=$0.00 {plus tax!!}

WOOT! 5 boxes of granola bars FREE!

Even if you don't have that combination of coupons, you can still great a great price on granola bars.

$5.00 - (5) boxes of granola bars
$1.60 - (1) box of granola bars -remember you need to buy in increments of 5 to get the $1.00 price
- $3.00 - (3) $1.00/2 Quaker Granola Bars
- $3.00 - (3) double coupons
=$.60 {plus tax}

$.10 for a box of granola bars is still FAB!!

$5.00 - (5) boxes of granola bars
- $2.75 - (5) $.55/1 Quaker Granola Bars
- $1.65 - (3) doubles
=$.60 {plus tax}
$.12 for a box of granola bars... beats Costco and Walmart any day!

Remember the Aunt Jemima Pancake and Syrup (syrup is $1.40) are a part of this sale as well. There is a $1.00/2 Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix or Syrup coupon out there! (PYP says we didn't get this one. It was in the 1/3 RP in some regions.)

$3.00 - (3) Aunt Jemima Pancake mix
$4.20 - (3) Aunt Jemima Syrup
-$3.00 (3) $1.00/2 Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix or Syrup
-$3.00 (3) doubles
=$1.20 {plus tax}

Averages to $.20 per item!

One thing I want to try is this.....
I do not know for sure if the catalina is printing on this at Albertsons. Anyone tried it?

PURCHASE: (3) Ziplock Sandwich Bags - 100 ct $2.49 each
USE: $1/2 from SS 1/10

and
USE: .40/1
DOUBLE SAVE $1.40
OOP: $4.67
RECEIVE: $2.00 catalina

FINAL PRICE: $2.67

But WAIT! The fun doesn't stop there!!

SUBMIT: Rebate for $5.00

If you know if this works let us know!
This will still make them FREE even if the catalina does not print!

Anybody know if the peanut butter coupon in the weekly ad can be doubled?

Martha said...

Yes it can. At least that's what Eagle/McMillan said today.

Leslie- We got a coupon for .60 off in the RP 1/31 the peanut butter would be cheaper if you double that :)

Can you mix the Aunt Jamima syrup with the instant oatmeal in the same transaction?
Example 3 syrups (using coupon and doubling it) and then 2 instant oatmeal also with 1/1?

Cluff Family,
Any of the items listed in the ad can be mixed and matched, regardless of whether they are the $1 or $1.40 price point. Mix and match away. You just have to buy in increments of 5 to get the $3 instant savings. Obviously when using a lot of the coupons out there, you might have to purchase 6 items in order to use your coupons. But it still makes for a great price!

Just a follow up to the Ziploc post... I did the catalina deal and it printed for my (4) that I purchased. You only had to purchase 3 for the $2 off cat to print, but my coupons were for $1.50 off 2, thus 4. Not as great of a deal as at Freddies, but they were cleared out when I went. The Albies deal was for $2.49, so not too bad.

Just a heads up, when I went to Albertsons to get score some Quaker deals, they would not accept my Quaker Manuf. Coupon as they said that Quaker was not reimbursing them. Anyone else had this problem? Also, there was nothing left on the shelves...

Amber Red - Idaho only got a $.75/2 Skippy coupon :(

Leslie - Which store were you at? It could be that your checker wasn't updated. Did you ask for a manager? Also - don't forget that majority of the Albies will have a huge display of product somewhere else in the store. If you don't see one, ask a worker. :)

Meridian Rd and Fairview Albies was out of granola bars this morning. They have plenty of the instant oatmeal packets. Most of the other stuff they had some but not massive quantities.

The Ten Mile Albies has tons of granola bars and pretty much every thing else that I was looking for this morning.

My Albies wouldn't take my manufactures coupons either. I thought it was just the ones that were dated for April, but they said it was the ones that showed the large Quaker oats canister on the front...which is the one I got from the actual Quaker site and was dated for February...did I miss something?
