Stupid question the $20 is before coupons right?

Mama Yo said...

No stupid Q's around here!

YES - get to your $20.00 by adding up the first price listed... so if you wanted to just go purchase cereal, you'd need to get 8 boxes of cereal to hit the $20 mark. Then INSTANTLY your total would come down to $15.00 - then they'll ring up all your coupons (let's say you had two from the insert, and two of the cheerios printables), and your total would come down to $11.90 plus tax for 8 boxes of cereal. I'm not too excited about this yet because I personally no longer buy cereal unless I can get it for less than $.50 a box!

ps - I added clarification to the deal explanation... so thanks for your great Q!

Cathy, it is so funny you mention your price point for cereal. I sent my hubby to Albertsons yesterday to pick up a few things and he called me to see if I wanted him to pick up some Chex that he said were on a great sale. Thinking they might be on clearance I asked how much. He said only $2.50 a box. I just laughed. Silly non-couponer. :)

Mama Yo said...

Ha ha!! Totally funny - that's like when my hubby picked up some 2 liters for $1.50 - "but they were on sale!". YIKES! By the way - they are $.87 again wyb in increments of 3 (the soda pop). :)

Also if you go to the soft scrub website and sign up and then look under the member exclusive offers you can get a buy one get one free, so you can get 2 for 1.49 or 2 for .49 if there's doubles!

Question, with the kraft catalina, do you think the little knudsen cottage cheese w/fruit things would be included? Knudsen cottage cheese was part of the list but I wasn't sure. What do you think?

I love when you tell us if it's a stock up price, or maybe more importantly, when it's not a stock up price! Keep the commentary coming!

I love your little comments too!! Keep them coming!! :)

Alexis-
Not sure about the Knudsen cottage cheese? I would think it would work but have not tried this deal. I have been waiting for the sale match-up that never came. Anyone else?

Thanks for the soft scrub tip.

Jennifer and from the beehive-
Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it!
