At Albertsons turkeys are 38 cents a pound when you spend $25.00. However the manager (10 Mile & Cherry Lane) pointed out to me that if I just buy a turkey that is $25.00 it will also qualify for the 38 cents a pound offer. The cashier did not think it would work so my turkey that was over 20 pounds only cost a little over $7.00. This also kept me from purchasing items I truly did not need yesterday.
I haven't been able to confirm this with my local Albertsons manager yet, but if it does/does not work for you - let us know in the comments!!
Thanks Cheryl!

Hmmmm, I wonder if this will be the same situation at Wegmans - they have specially marked turkeys for 29-cents/lb with a $25 purchase...
Has anyone seen the turkey price at Winco this week? They usually also have a great per pound price with a minimum purchase at this time of year.
Cathy - I think it is $.38/lb when you spend $50.
Albertsons managers are saying the turkey needs to be bought in addition to spending $25. Not just a $25 turkey
That's a good deal! I already bought my turkey at Winco, though. It was 26 lbs for about $9 when I spent $50 on stuff I needed anyway.
