Scouting for Food THIS SATURDAY!

If you have been couponing for a while you are probably starting to have a very nice stockpile. Well here is a great opportunity to share the coupon love with others!

Tonight put a bag or two of non-perishable food items together and place them on your door step. Tomorrow morning one of your local scouts will come and pick up the food. 8 am- 12pm.

If you did not get a flyer on your door for scouting for food or no one comes to pick it up you can still drop it off food at these locations.

The Idaho Foodbank, 3562 S. TK Ave.
Boy Scout office, 8901 W. Franklin Road, Boise
Meridian Food Bank, 15 E. Bower St., Meridian
Walmarts
4051 W. Fairview in Meridian
7319 W. State St. in Garden City
2100 12th Ave. Road in Nampa
5108 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell
1775 S. Idaho in Ontario
El-Ada Community Action, 240 N. 3rd St. E., Mountain Home.

We will also be collecting donations at our coupon party tomorrow morning!

I think this is a national date for Scouting for Food, so leave a comment if you have collection locations in your area!

They left a plastic bag last week that said only canned items. So no cereal? I have a lot of cereal I could donate.

the flyers should say canned and packaged goods (by the sponsors)- thats what the ones we handed out said.
