FABULESSLY FRUGAL FRIDAY: Dave Ramsey "MTMM" - 1 month Free

I've told you how much I LOVE Dave Ramsey, haven't I?

One of the things that I first "learned about" when I started getting into the whole blogging world, just over a year ago, was Dave Ramsey. And let me tell you, he has changed my whole mindset about money. I finally decided to read his book The Total Money Makeover. And it changed who we are. For the better.

Many of you are aware that we are one of the nations "unemployed" as of April 3rd. If this had happened a year ago, we wouldn't have had any savings, and would have used credit cards to supplement our unemployment income.

Thanks to Dave Ramsey, when this DID happen 3 months ago, we had 2 months of savings in the bank. I haven't even THOUGHT about using credit cards. We've simply cut our spending back.

So here is your FabuLESS Frgual Friday tip:

Let Dave Ramsey indoctrinate your mind about money. It's no "get out of debt quick" scheme. It's good old fashioned money sense. Something I think Americans in general forgot about, but are coming to realize.

YOU can join MyTotalMoneyMakeover.com for one month free. Just follow the instructions on this coupon.

What will you find at MyTotalMoneyMakeover.com?
  • access to all three hours (commercial free) of his daily radio show
  • a slew of articles to "indoctrinate" you
  • forums
  • software to help you create your budget
  • web based "Baby Step" tracking
  • and a whole lot more
If you think you "get" money. I encourage you to check out Dave Ramsey.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck and have no financial future in sight, I encourage you to check out Dave Ramsey.

If you want to "Live like no one else, so you can live like no one else", I encourage you to check out Dave Ramsey.

Cathy I LOVE Dave Ramsey! We've been trying to get out of debt for so long but doing it his way helps us actually see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We did baby step #1 ($1000.00 emergency fund) and the next day we got $1000.00 in medical bills for my ankle! If we hadn't had that money we would have put it on a credit card! Once my check comes in the mail we will pay off our carpet and start paying off my car! We are SO Excited!!!!

Just a note, and I am guilty of this as well, but as we buy and get our great deals and stock up our pantry's, to the point of explosion, and have no more room to put our own food, etc. that we buy ... Instead of building more storage for ourselves, Why be selfish??

Please, PLEASE remember others in need. Times are tough. Donate some of your deals to local food banks, I am always hearing of needs from the Boise rescue mission and I know the Nampa Mission (affiliated with Boise Rescue) is in need too. If you have overstock of something, and are blessed, pass it along to a family, a single parent, or a local charity in need. You will be blessed again and again, with more than you can ever imagine. (I am in the process of making a basket for an elderly man my husband met, who is really struggling on low income.) You can help so many with this couponing!! Use it to the fullest.

Love, and Thank You

I love Dave Ramsey! My Husband and I are on Baby Step #2, and by the end of the month we should have 1 of 2 credit cards paid off, and then we'll be on our way to getting our other debts paid off! Let me say it is SUCH a good feeling to have a debt that is paid off! I haven't read the book yet, but I think I might pick it up today and start reading it. Thanks for getting the word out about him!

Dave Ramsey is the BEST! We are just working on our six months worth of savings and the only debt we have is our house. It's nice to have safety in this crazy world. He just makes it so you can understand exactly what you need to do to be debt free. Thanks for the info.
