Reader Tip: Albertsons and Empty Shelves

I was just at Albies and their velveta shells/cheese cups are 10/$10, and I still have printables for $1.00 off 2. FREE MAC & CHEESE!

Also - the gogurts are going fast. They were TOTALLY sold out at Columbia Village.

Thanks for the tip Brandy!

Things to keep in mind:

Remember to always ask if there are more items in the back when the shelves are empty.

AND you can always request a rain check... and we recently learned that you can "purchase" the items, use your coupons, use your doublers, AND get your catalina. They will simply write "paid" on the Rain Check. Then when the items are in, you can pick them up - hassle free!

And as always, be sure to check with your individual store. I've talked to more than one person that has been able to do this... but stores may vary!

The Easy Mac Cups were on sale too - for some reason I didn't notice them like the velveta shells/cheese cups.

The pay before when they are out idea used to work but stores aren't supposed to do it anymore. I was going to do it for the diaper deal several months back, but during that week's sale a huge memo came down from corporate prohibiting them from doing it anymore. A lot of employees that did it got in big trouble too I guess. Anyhow, if it's changed, I'd love to know if it's universal. Which store's have allowed this??? Thanks Cathy!
