HUGE Consignment Sale!! June 18th-20th

One of our readers wanted to share this info on a consignment sale with all our FAB Friends! You have the opportunity to be a consignor OR just go shop and get some great quality stuff for a very low price! Read on...

B fashionable. B thrifty. B smart

It's B time again!! Ok Moms, the summer sales event is here, June 18th thru 20th. It's the BumbleBKids sale! It's another great consignment sale in the valley. Go to www.bumblebkids.com for more info!!! If you want quality kids items this is the sale. There are strollers, cribs, ton's of clothes and much much more. There are many name brand items that are like new from Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree and boutique specialty stores.

Well, needless to say....after our last sale, the moms were a bit jealous of the sweet as honey deals they scored for their kiddos. So, per special requests...We are adding a trial mommy department to our kids sale. Basically, if moms love em' and like to buy them...you can consign them. Think: Women's clothes, shoes, handbags, jewelry, scrapbooking supplies, candles, light & (easy enough to haul around) home decor. Well, now you can consign them too. We know money may be tight...so now's your chance to clean out your home and closets and get some CASH! (Remember that it should still be stylish, clean and well taken care of...no holes, stains, stretched fabric, gross old shoes, etc. this is not a Yardsale).

Get online and visit their website. Sign up to be a consignor and start getting your stuff ready! (Call Old Navy and ask them to set aside hangers for you if you don’t want to use your own.) If you want to earn 80% instead of 70%, sign up to work an 8 hour shift.

CONSIGNING YOUR STUFF: How It Works

You set the price. You make 70% of the sales price....80% if you volunteer 1-8 hour shift. (This is much higher than the percentage you get at consignment stores.)

You tag your own items according to the tagging instructions (click the following hyperlink to learn how it works bumble b school). Check it out now & fill out tags before you get there. The Site says to use a whole 3x5 card(it's a typo.....Cut it in Half....it's much easier & takes up a lot less space. "Order" the barcoded tags at the prices you'll be needing before your drop-off time. Remember to select "discount or no discount" if you want particular items to remain full price or if you want it to go to 50% off on the last day. You'll bring your items in with the 1/2 3x5 card already attached & marked, all you'll need to do is attach the proper barcodes upon your arrival at drop off. If you prefer, you can order your barcodes ahead of time, pick them up before you bring in your items & have them all stuck to your tags/Items BEFORE you arrive for check in. Bring your items in a laundry basket, box, plastic tub or a wagon it keeps all your things clean and organized.

Drop -Off:

When you drop-off your items you'll fill out a basic form & a return envelope (to mail you your check in) Please bring your own postage stamp or 50 cents to cover postage. They'll inspect items for quality. Please make sure items are CLEAN and GENTLY used: no holes, stains, tears, balled fabric, etc. Please don't be offended if items are sent home with you. Bumble B Kids is working to provide quality and gently used items for all. After inspection, please count the items you'll be selling and mark that on the sign-up sheet. A volunteer will help you put them in the appropriate place.

Bumble B Kids sells it for you.

Saturday June 20th is 50% off day. If you are willing to sell an item at a discounted price, you may choose to mark it 50% off if it is sold on last day. You may also leave it for full price. Make sure you specify your preference when "ordering" your (free) barcodes.

At the end of the sale, you'll need to pick up your unsold items. Pick up is Saturday from 4-6 pm. or Monday from 10 am-12 noon. If you can’t come, you may send a friend with a permission slip to pick up your things. The note must have your code number and signature on it. All unclaimed items become property of Bumble B Kids when the pick up time has expired. We donate items to a local charity.

We mail you your check for your sold items within 2 weeks. Also, there is a $7.00 facility fee that will be deducted from your total earnings. This helps pay for the equipment, advertising, rental of the building, of check and tags.
