USING YOUR S'MORES GOODIES!

I was sorry that I missed all the S'mores goodies last week at Albertsons! Even more sorry now that one of my fave bloggers Marie, of Makes N Takes, has this fun idea. It involves chocolate chips rather than candy bars, but I think you could adjust your recipe and do it either way!

Chocolate Chip S'mores Surprise
involves shoving the chocolate INSIDE your marshmallow! She and her hubby have a little competition going on. She puts her chocolate (chips) inside BEFORE roasting, and he does it AFTER.

Either way, I think it is a fun and TASTY idea that I just had to share!

I'm putting Monica on the spot and asking her to post her WAY FAB S'mores Brownie Recipe! She gave me a MASSIVE square for my birthday. It was SOOO YUMMY!

Do you have a fun ways of making S'mores or using your S'mores ingredients?!

Here's the thing. At my house, the grahams and chocolate practically eat themselves. I'll have to hide some so we can do s'mores when we go camping. This leaves me with an overabundance of marshmallows to kill off.

I'm experimenting with sort of hybriding granola bars and rice crispy treats. Just made the first batch by melting 3/4 cups peanut butter candy melts I needed to use up with the marshmallow & butter goo. I replaced a cup and a half of the rice crispies with quick oats and added 3/4 cup of walnuts.

Planning to cut them into bar shapes for snacks on the go. I'm also plotting out future variations using raisins, coconut, bran flakes, broken pretzels, chocolate chips, peanut butter, craisins and anything else I can think of and find at a bargain.
