Albertsons 4/8-4/14

Here is the Fabuless PYP Printiable Shopping list link! Don't know how to use this link effectively? Check out this post for a pictorial.

(One item of note: The Idaho list doesn't have the fancy select and shrink and print option, so this sends you to the Utah list. Utah got a fabuless $1/1 Kelloggs cereal coupon in their Sunday insert and we didn't. So the final price on that particular item would be $2.34/box plus free milk)

So what's hot?

Be sure to check out the $10 of FREE meat or seafood when you purchase $25 of participating items (over 650 items to choose from). Many of these items also qualify for a $20 Unilever rebate (when you spend $40). They are marked on this PYP list, so look for the 4 or 5 star deals and shop up! Great time to stock up on Skippy Peanut Butter, Slim Fast Shakes, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Nabisco crackers, Lipton Dry soup mix, Kraft Mac N Cheese, Knorr Sides plus Veggies, Jell-o gelatin, puddings, or dessert mixes, Breyers Ice cream, Taco Bell shells or dinner kits (the catalina on these is still going!), Vaseline Intensive Care lotion, and Wish Bone salad dressing... it won't be hard to reach $25, or even $40. Just make sure you ONLY get the items that YOU WILL USE and are 4 or 5 stars!

**UPDATE**
Found this on PYP - best way to work these two deals together:
You CAN do more than one set of Kraft/Unilever per order for the Kraft/Unilever promo. (However, the stores are asking that you not do more than 3 sets of Kraft/Unilever items per order, to keep lines down.)

So.....spend at least $40 on participating Unilever products (see the link in the first post for participating items, don't just assume all items on the shopping list are participating) and $10 more in Unilever or Kraft products for a total of $50.
In the same order, purchase your ham or turkey for around $20. You'll get a $20 instant deduction at checkout, making your turkey or ham free. Then you'll send in your receipt to Unilever and get up to $20 back, depending on how much your ham or turkey was. (If you purchase an $18 turkey or ham, you'll only get $18 back from the Unilever rebate. If you purchase a $22 turkey or ham, you'll only get $20 back from the Unilever rebate.)
Don't forget also about this promotion: Get two 10% off coupons when you spend $25 or more between Thursday, April 9 and Sunday April 12 using your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card (Promotion limited to two 10% coupons awarded per transaction).

Confused? Leave your questions or scenarios here! We can help each other out!!

Hi!
I was just wondering if anyone has tried to do the free $10 meat promo without buying meat. I heard that the $10 just comes off automatically whether you buy meat or not...do you know if this has worked for you or anyone else?
I'm a little hesitant to go buy $25 worth of Skippy unless I know for sure that $10 will come off.
Thanks!

Holly - I have heard both. If I were you, I would call the store first and see what the manager says. I know that the Caldwell manager says you CAN do that. But then I've read on other blogs that it didn't work, and the cashier "reluctantly" did it anyway. Let us know what you find out!

Holly- I had no problem getting my $10 off. I went to the Overland/Orchard store and the 12th/Greenhurst. If you are hearing both ways you may want to check with your store like Cathy said.
