Have you tried the pledge and lightbulbs, I heard they don't end up being free??

Heather-
I have not. But I have found that our local Target seems to raise the price on hot coupon items, so that could have happened.

I just went to my local Target and NOTHING above was for FREE!!!
But my trip wasn't wasted.
Thanks anyways

I went to my local target and had the worst experience using the coupons. The cashier was mad that i was getting these things for free. She refused to scan some of my coupons. Also, she refused to give me the rain checks for the light bulbs because she said and I quote "You would end up getting those for free too." I was livid.

Angel- Sorry that you did not find those FREE. Like I said above our local Target has been raising prices on hot items. I guess I will need to mention that in the post from now on.

Jenny-
I can not believe your checker. What an awful experience. Refusing to scan good coupons is like refusing to take cash! She must not get it. The store gets paid the value of the coupon plus .08. They don't lose money. Manufacturers use coupons as an advertising expense, so they don't lose either. Did you ask for a manager? That is ridiculous. I think sometimes cashiers are just jealous b/c they don't know how to price match to get these great deals. Ugh! I hope it is better for you next time!
